If it is affecting your relationship then you may already have your answer. Nit picking and bickering is always present even in the healthiest of relationships. When it becomes unbearable and one or both are at their wits ends then the line has been crossed. It is always best to keep the lines of communication open so the nagging will take back seat.

Jealousy is never healthy because we as humans do not know when to pull back. Its best to have a positive attitude about things and lock that green eyed monster away forever if at all possible.

Ordinarily I advise people to simply "be themselves".
Generally speaking the only reason people change is because (they) are unhappy with the results they're getting. No one can make another change.
By the same token if you're unhappy in a relationship and choose to stay then (you) are (choosing) to be unhappy.
Each of us (chooses) our own friends, lovers, and spouse.
Each of us is entitled to have our own "deal breakers".
Only you know what is "right" for you.

There comes a time when you have to draw the line and stop that nagging and all conflicts including the jealous acts. When it gets too much couples just stop talking.
