How to deal with death of a boyfriend

I met this guy Tommy in the middle of 2015, he'd been talking to my best friend and dated her but he had a connection every time we met and it got stronger and I began to fall for him. Eventually he ended up with me and after a couple months we started dated, we were dating for 1 month and 4 days when he died in a car crash. On the 18 dec 2015 I went to work he stayed at home cleaned up the yard for mum and sat down in the bar for a drink. He went home and on his way he crashed and instantly died and this was 5 months ago. I don't know how to deal with it I'm having many ups and downs

Don't do as the other answerer suggested and pretend you never knew him.  I'm sorry but what a craptastic answer that was.  What you should do is allow yourself to grieve.  This was a person you loved and cared for and he was taken suddenly.  That is very difficult.  I would suggest you get some grief counseling if you are able or even join a support group for the bereaved, they do exist and often they are free of charge.  Sudden deaths are the worst, particularly when they are so unexpected and the person is young.  I lost a dear friend when she was only 19 - she was hit by a drunk driver and it took time to cope with it and move on.  You will.  Remember, there are some things only time can help heal.  Give yourself the time you need and find some support wherever you can.
