   The foundation of what we call "love" is the Adam and Eve metaphor for beginning of this civilization. Eve's being "woven out of man" represent every man's yin or yang is left dormant within them causing the active one to long for it with such force it produces the "sex for pleasure" urge we call love when we come in contact with the opposite attribute in another body.

   I believe the foundation of any happy marriage or relationship for that matter is built upon the following 6 building blocks/ingredients. These blocks could also be thought of as chain links with each coming into existence and getting stronger because of the previous one.
   Building a strong foundation/relationship (requires time).
   The Food Of Love...
   1. HONESTY leads to TRUST
   2. TRUST leads to LOYALTY
   3. LOYALTY leads to LOVE & DEVOTION
   4. LOVE & DEVOTION leads to INTIMACY
   5. INTIMACY leads to EMOTIONAL SECURITY
   6. EMOTIONAL SECURITY leads to REAL HAPPINESS
   The previous links in the chain are in a particular order as to minimize the heartache risk. Putting the cart before the horse can lead to learning a painful lesson.
   Too often people try to "force love" instead of allowing it the time to "evolve". Things also usually don't work out if you do it in the (wrong order). Starting with #5 may not lead to #1 and so on.
   Well that’s my basic recipe for relationship happiness. Feel free to spice it up and add whatever suits (your taste).

   The basic foundation for me is,faith, trust, respect and knowing there is someone I can be totally honest with, tell me deepest fears too. Work on our lives together in a common bond. Knowing I have a man I can fully trust and live out the rest of my life with. Compassion and kindness along alll the things I mentioned contribute to our love for each other building a strong foundation. Under even the darkest times and hardest moments I know I would never harm him and he would never harm me in any way. Much deeper then I can even fully explain. I never believed I would ever deserve this kind of love.
