    What is the point?

What is the point of relationships, life, aliens, dogs, clocks, carpets...anything?

    Good question.
What is the point of anything?????
Right now, I have had it!
What if what you want you never can have. I don't mean that in a spoilt brat way, either.
Why exert yourself-nothing ever seems to change.
    Everything is upside down.
I just feel like I don't know anything about anything or anyone. Nothing makes sense to me.
Good luck with your other responses.

emma......I believe that every human being has asked this question, at the very least, once, at some point in our life.  Of course we have, and probably will numerous times before our life is over.  Human nature, such as it is, will find us questioning many mysteries and inexplicable situations we encounter on a daily basis.
"What is the point?"  Is often asked aloud, followed by an exasperated sigh at a moment we have tired of a struggle with no result and begin to lose hope.  This question comes to mind when we find ourselves with more questions than answers and have reached what seems to be another dead end.
Consider for a second, emma, that all  we can see, hear and feel are matters of perception and we truly have more control than previously believed. Consider that all is not lost and the sun still shines brightly once the clouds pass by.
I have to wonder if you have not recently been extremely disappointed because I sense a sadness we often must deal with when hopes have been dashed or our heart broken.
It's true that there is much which is beyond our control but with a bit of dedication and motivation, we have within ourselves the strength and courage to move on....perhaps above, around and over temporary obstacles and that which might zap our enthusiasm.
We create the "point."  We answer this question for ourselves and for each and every step we take while living on this earth.  We have to have a reason.  There has to be a purpose.
And so my friend, when you reach this point of weariness and some despair, focus on what ever brings you joy, whomever you love and what it is you perceive as the meaning of your life.  Take time to be silent and meditate, to embrace all nature to our avail.  Slow down and breathe deep.
Slowly things will come together for you and you'll feel a spark once again.
Just ride the waves through the storm.....and I promise that the point to it all will once again become crystal clear to you.
