I'm going to be writing for brides and about weddings. Need to speak to some brides-to-be.
Anyone a bride-to-be or recently married?
I am getting married in July this year
CONGRATULAIONS Anna! Best wishes headed your way and Blessings for a long and wonderful marriage!
Good luck to you all and I hope you have a long, prosperous and happy ever after.
I got married in the courthouse but am currently planning a proper wedding - I live in USA but am getting married is SA.
I'm getting married tomorrow, and will be having a ceremony later this year...that said, I don't suppose I'm really the typical bride. It seems like everyone wants the moderate-to-large wedding with the big cake and the white dress and everything else, but when we do the ceremony we're planning on having it in the back yard with a barbecue reception, and I've told him that if he wants to spend a lot of money on us he can do so on the marriage...like in the form of a down payment on a house or something...rather than on the wedding itself.
my grandfather always said, how come with all the beautiful brides, do the wives turn out so ugly?
Lol...well hey, I thought once you snag one you get to stop trying, right?
: : : Think about all the time (weeks and months) they spent getting ready for the wedding and the amount of time they have after the wedding to get ready for each day...ummmm.
You know that song? Or perhaps it is South African... It has the lines:
"If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never get a pretty woman as wife"
I want a blondepoet barbie!...
hmmm, lemme think, yes...I definitely want one.

If you're married, think back to when you were newly engaged. What do you wish someone would have told you? If you're not married, feel free to throw out advice anyway. I love to hear different viewpoints and ideas on marraiage!

If and individual has had three failed marriages wouldn't a fourth marriage seem insignifigant? How many times should people get married in a lifetime anyway? I think after a couple tries that is enough. I'm not judging anyone. Just curious about others opinions about this.

What is the perfect age for a woman to get married? My daughter asked me this question and I am not sure what the best age to get married is. What you think? How old should the bride be to be a good wife and mother?

How does someone know if that person is the right one? Should one rush into marriage.
