seriously, i'd like to know, as i never made it past the first date. lol. therefore, what would be your idea of the perfect SECOND date after you successfully made a good impression on the first one.
He takes me to dinner and gives me the money before he drops me off without getting any! heehee
LOL! I know but I was feeling silly and couldn't resist!
lol. that's cool. i thought it was funny too, so i liked that comment. i just couldn't believe someone would say it.
no clue, never been on a first date....good luck guy.
I would guess that if the first date was good, repeat that?
well..I am a girl, Ive never been on a date but I can say the things that I would like to do if ever taken on one....if it helps?
I would say, the guy should not be really negative about himself or really overly "Im so great". I dont want to fight to get one second of attention, but I dont want to deal with fake compliments either.
For you Steven, I would think going to the movies with the right girl, would be an awesome date. If you find a girl with similar taste in movies...just treat her the same way you treat us all here on HP. Really listen, be honest, kind and considerate. DONT FAKE IT!!!! Soo...movies, first date, real fun..second date? step up a notch with dinner first?
wow, that's some very good advice. thanks doormattnomore. that really helps me out a lot. by the way, im kind of surprised a lovely gal like yourself never went on a date though. i would've figured some lucky guy would've asked you out by now.
are you saying people should have sex on a second date?
really? wow, that's interesting thanks wrylit. you want to go out then sometime for a few dates?
Haha. I'm married. But since the break between relationships is usually a few weeks or months, I'm sure both parties would be thinking it.
They're both too polite to say it and too busy buttering each other up on the first date. So the second date it is!
oh you are? sorry. i didn't know. well your husband is a lucky guy then, and your right. most people probably do think that way, but probably don't act on it most of the time due to consideration or whatever. anyways, thanks for the advice.
a second date should be ermmmm. Buy me a nice dress to wear to the second date. It has to be an exclusive restaurant.

I'm just asking to see how many of you single folks out there, wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts on what you think the perfect date should be like, in your own opinion. Or if you've already had it, then please tell us your story of this perfect date. And please folks, don't skip on...

On a first date, what one attribute would rule out a second date? What could your date do that would be a sure sign to you that their would be no point in continuing to pursue a relationship with that person?
