               Maybe it is still the convention that a man is for a woman that is why I didn't see the she. But a woman can fell in love with a woman, it happens and it is accepted.

                                       That is good, I think that to those who belong to the lower economic strata here -- below middle class which to some extent to my opinion doesn't bother with sometimes high falutin news, Obama is still popular. He is working hard and many people are realizing that, USA will never be the same again after 9/11 and 8 years of Bush. it take some time to rebuild the debt and I think he is doing a good job, look at all the indicators at big demographic surveys - slow but positive economic growth is good.

      well that depends..how do YOU feel about your friend?  do you like them as only a friend...or more?  that's something you need to figure out first before pondering what to do about your friend, as it's not that great to lead them on if your not interested in them in the same way.  or it would be tragic if you felt the same way, but you didn't have the courage to tell them.  therefore, i think it ultimately falls on how you feel about your friend, personally.

         It's much better pisean. Fortunately it was more of a stab than a cut, and it's sealed up all except the outside. Still hurts if I strain it too much though.

   I assume the issue here is more that she is female, and that you are also.
   
   I guess it comes down to your comfort level...if you're comfortable exploring it, go for it! If not, maybe just (gently) make it clear that you your relationship can't go that way...friendships (true friendships) survive stuff like this all the time:-) 
   
   Friendship is the best basis for any relationship:-)
