   Why has scripture from the King James Bible been translated into other interpretations?
   
   The King James Bible was good enough for past generations to read and learn about the Lord, why change the words? What are your thoughts on this?

   No translation is fully correct , thats why we must go to the original languages to see the truth.     An Interlinear is a good help as long as you do not use the notes of men that are sometimes included.
   Check the history of bibles, there are so many translations because for each one those translating they have their own beliefs added in, which is a serious problem with many.
   kjv is a corrupt translation, paid for by king james because he did not like that the currently popular bible ( the geneva bible) showed he was a tyrant and not Christian.           
   thats why it is called THE AUTHORIZED KJV  because it was the ONLY version (the one he had translated to suit himself) that he approved of in the land.there are several much better translations available today and the Geneva bible is also again gaining popularity

      Quick note here, Paul. Celafoe admonishes you to not use the "notes of men" included in Bible versions, yet he has no problem telling you where he thinks you're wrong with his "words of men." Point is we're all just men with opinions here.

   The Bible has been translated and retranslated many times throughout it's history and into many different languages. The King James Version is a decent translation, but better versions have been produced using the modern vernacular, greatly helping the modern reader. 
   
   I grew up in a home and churches that used the KJV exclusively. I saw first-hand how many of the Old English words in the KJV caused people to wrongly interpret the passages. These wrong interpretations resulted in many teachings and practices that were not faithful to the text. This confusion added to the already present contradictions and problems with the Bible. Because the Bible is another human piece of literature that has influenced many, I'm sure the translation work will continue and more versions will be produced.

   The dialect in the KJV is a 400 year old dead dialect that no one speaks.
   
   That is an outstanding reason, among many others already mentioned.

   The Bible has gone through many translations and interpretations, because no one has perfected their knowledge. Also, human languages are imperfect and keep changing.
   
   Koine Greek was the language of the New Testament. Hebrew was the language of the Old Testament. Not everyone speaks these languages. The Bible was translated into Latin, but for hundreds of years, the church preached in Latin, but few in the audience understood.
   
   Interpretation is difficult, because the Bible is about spiritual things. Human languages are not languages of spirit, but of physical things.
   
   The first 5 books were written by Kabbalists in what they call the Language of Branches. All of the Bible needs the Holy Spirit for proper translation.
   
   Fifteen years ago, I found the Kabbalists' "Tree of Life" matrix embedded in two chapters of Genesis. I have no doubt that there is a great deal more to be learned, because no one yet knows all that God knows.

   My thoughts on this?  No one "really" wants to hear!  But here goes!
   
   We all need to seek the gift of the "HOLY SPIRIT" (Jesus), who will "guide you into ALL truth" (John 16:13).  There would not be a reason to worry who omitted, revised, or added to His Word because He would "guide you" or reveal it unto you!
   
   Children, this is a spiritual journey!  We need help, especially in this day and age, for Matthew 7:15 says "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."  Verse 16 however, says "Ye shall no them by their fruits..."
   
   Ephesians 6:12 goes on to say, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
   
   What choice do we have but to seek 'help' from Jesus who is the Holy Spirit?  For deception is great in this world!  Who else can win all of our battles for us? 
   
   This is why I like to respond using the Word of God for I know that I have given responses according to scripture, according to what the Holy Spirit has told me to write "For we all must appear before the judgement seat of Christ (II Corinthians 5:10) and "Woe be unto the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord." (Jeremiah 23:1)
