Does The Pope Have Plans Of Introducing Online Priests So That The Guilty Can Confess Online?

The Idea Of People Going To The Church To Confess Is Consuming A Lot Of Our Time. The Pope Has To Change With Changing Technology; After All, Jesus Was Never Against Advancement Of Technology. The Banks Are Doing It, The Stock Exchanges Are Doing It, The Schools Are Doing, And We Have Online Bible And Online Bible Sales Using Credit Cards. Why Can’t The Catholic Church Allow Confession Online To Avoid Priest Interacting With People Who Can Tempt Them To Do Bad Things? This Online Confession and Praying Will Make The Church Have More Followers And Our Lives Will Be Easier.

    No.

To have online confession violates what it is to have a sacrament in the first place--a manifestation of grace.  We don't have online Catholic Weddings, you can't receive the Eucharist online, and you can't get baptized online... so why should you be able to go to confession online?

If you "don't have time" to go to confession then don't go... but confession isn't about clearing your conscience and getting out as fast you can, its coming with a repentant heart and seeking to change the action.

So I may just write a hub about this.  But I hope this answer wasn't too offensive, it's really just what I see to be the truth of the matter.

The Catholic Chuerh should adapt to the changing times, and yes they should do that, although even psychologists don't counsel online.

No, when the veil was torn in the Holy of holies at the time of Christ death opened the door for our one on one relationship with Jesus and the Holy Father as when we accept Jesus as our Personal Savior. We became adopted as heirs with Jesus. Thus we can pray DIRECTLY to the Father in Jesus name. Ok, I know many have been taught that you must go to a confession. Ask youself if you must go to the priest-and the church has been over-ran with pediphiles/gay/etc priests of late.Just how in the hell did and could your sins be forgiven by these priest much less the church. Simple it can not be! Thus one on one in our prayer closet with Jesus Christ talking one on one. Also confession has been used to blackmail people in the past "to keep your sin quiet" you need to do this or pay extra.

You don't need to go to a priest to confess.  You go to God and Jesus Christ.  I do agree the online sermons make it easier especially if you are not able to go to a regular service.
