    1) Mormons teach that man can become a "God". Just like satan told Eve.
    LDS
The ONLY MEN WHO BECOME GODS, even the Sons of God, are those WHO ENTER
    INTO POLYGAMY."
    ..
(Journal of Discourses, Vol. 11, page 269 2nd LDS President(prophet) Brigham Young)

    Satan saids in
    Genesis
3:5  5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

    2) Mormons teach that the book of Momon is a new and better doctrine. Just like the anti Christ will do
According to Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible (History of the Church, vol. 4, p. 461) and contains the truths of Mormonism.

    Anti christ

Revelation 13:5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them.

How do you know the Bible is right and the Book of Mormon is wrong?

Well the book of mormon takes from the bible and change what they want. like
Matt 22:30, For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God.  (No marriage in Heaven period.)
        Book of mormon
D&C 132:40-46, Joseph Smith many wives.

pisean you don't know your history. The book book of mormon revised up to 6 times. Which had to correct up to 4000 errors. and I am sure they changed more. there have been a bunch of changes in The BofM. Read your history.

Pisean Ill prove the lds faith wrong with this. Your faith started and stands on the great apostasy.
The Great apostasy has not happen yet.

John 15:2, Every branch (believer, disciple, true Christian) that beareth fruit, He (God) shall prune it, that it may bring forth more fruit. (The true Word of God will continue forever.) The branches are the believers and/or teachers and the fruit are those who are taught. God will get those people ready (prune) and the cycle will continue forever.

                This is what God promised.

The Great apostasy is talked about in 2 Thessalonians Ch 2. When the people thought that the day of the Lord had already began.

                2Thess 2:3

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first (The Great apostasy) AND that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (Satan).

The Great apostasy (the Great falling away) will happen when the anti christ (the son of perdition"damnable to die") comes and teaches his false doctrine (Rev 13). The people will be tricked into worshiping the beast (satan) and will be turned away from the true Christ. The great Apostasy.

Jesus promised us that he would never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5, And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; John 14:16 we will always have the Holy spirit we will always have Jesus

                we will start hear.

                    What?
just read what i wrote in 2 thess 2:3 When the great apostacy happens satan will be revealed.
I am not judging just sharing the truth.
                    please commit on the above.

I had a pretty long discussion with two "missionary Mormons" once, over this very issue.

It ended with me expressing my assurance of salvation in Christ. So, if I died right this moment, or any moment, believing in Him, I will be with Him, (forever), in Heaven.
"Can your church/teaching do the same, or better?" Their reply was, "No."

"So, why should Im become a Mormon? You offer me far less than I already have."

I politely escorted them to the front door, and sent them on their way. (Never to return). lol

Wait, it is the koran?, no, no, it is the bible that is final. On second thoughts it is the gita, or is it the books of buddhism or jainism? No it is the book of the dead that is the final. Or is it......
You know, I have my assurance of salvation in Ahura Mazda. So, if I died right this moment, or any moment, believing in Him, I will be with Him, (forever), in Heaven. So I have to escort everybody out of my mind(politely, of course).....

@passing isnt judging whether jesus was messiah or not , domain of jews?...they invented the concept , they know better....anyways point is not whether jews r right or wrong, point is you judging that people believe in bible or believing in satan...now that is for all faiths...jews would say u believe in jesus now that is straying from the path , islam says jesus was servant of allah and believing in anything else about jesus is fabrication and so on....rather than passing judgements on others , it would be better to let people believe in what they believe....isnt it?

    @passingtheword

my point is simply as follows

    1) dont intrude on rights of others to belief
    2) get that u have mere belief and u interpretate verses so do others including me...now some might interpretate that those verses of false doctrine apply on catholics or on paul or others...there r people who say paul was anti christ...that might be truth for them...so it is mere interpretation
    3) bible has had 20 versions...4 where selected by panel consisting of human beings..if today we had to make those selections , we dont know those 4 would be best choice...we might go with gosphel of mary or peter or judas...so dont sell selection of group of people as ultimate truth ...it is mere belief that it is word of god...u have right to belief but no right to judge on other religions...

Almost identical would be a huge overstatement. Word for word the overlap is no more than a few percent of the total.

I don't see how much something change as a measure of sanctity. If it was that would rule out the revisions Jesus made just by allegedly existing.
