Forgive me, the trouble with this place is that it's often difficult to tell the difference between intended and unintended nonsense.

When you ask if I believe in “Ghost” I can assume you are asking about the 1990 movie starring Demi Moore, Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg? Then the answer is yes, I was but a wee 8-year-old child and that movie touched me. So sad the loss of Patrick Swayze :-(

        PaoloJpm,
I think people may be misunderstanding your question. I think you are wondering if people believe in ghosts; when you ask if people believe in ghost, that is improper English and it seems that you are referring to the title of a movie instead.

that's a quite interesting movie I guess. But I am not familiar with it, anyway going to look for it cause the way you said seems good. By the way I am actually just giving my own experience about ghost since I heard things that are unusual.

The funny thing about ghosts is that that 'sightings' are always of someone/something white never black. Don't black people come back from the dead too?

PaoloJpmposted 12 years agoin reply to this

well I think it depends on what we see anyway. But if your referring to literally the color of ghost commonly white ones. Black are usually unseen especially night time except if camera or clips captured their presence.

Incidentally, okay, dumbest question (I am newbiesh) you've ever heard but what does the number/rating on your photo signify? Thanks.

I'm "newbiesh" too, so perhaps not the best person to be answering this question, but from what I gather it is kind of like a personal performance score. I believe writing quality hubs, reading and commenting on others' hubs, asking and answering questions, involvement in the forums all contribute to that number.

That's strange considering I've only written one hub and it's not up to much. Still, thanks for not giving me an informative rather than a 'Yes-you-really-are-dumb' - type reply and being polite with it. I like the eco-orientated profile too and the highly readable posts so for that reason I'm now following your hubs. smile

                  Ah, gee thanks.
Hey listen, it will be comforting to know, that while it might not be the "norm" I started with a number something like you have and I watched it plummet for several days in a row until I was a zero. I was wondering what the heck I did to drop to a NOTHING? Then it started to gradually, slowly go back up. Once I got back into the 80s that was good enough for me. (Then I was almost approaching 90 and over the next week or so I dropped all the way back down to 81 or so. It has only been over the last couple of days that I went from an 87 to a 92. But I pretty much haven't shut my computer off in about a week and I have probably devoted 18 hours a day to HubPages in that time). I just wanted to give you the heads up to how it may work, don't be alarmed, but be aware.

currently happening to me as well. lets just be more interactive to get back on track again. Also I am planning a whole day hubpages mission. Got a lot of editing and interaction to do.

its actually it is your hubscore or individual score. It is measured as how active you are in the community. Comments, answering, ask questions and join forums would increase your hubscore.
