If God is omnipresent does that mean God resides within all people and animals?

    Of course. God is everything.

If God is in everything then people who believe must acknowledge that god has some responibility in bad things.

I agree. As do we all.

I believe that god is in everything, but I do not think God is a he or a she- unless God is two sexes at the same time, in which case God would be like Baphomet, or various others that I am able to conjure up.
I do not hold God responsible for bad things because that would be like blaming a rock for tripping you on a hike, rather than your own lack of attention or some other circumstance.

I agree, Andrew, the name of what is called god, YaHuWeH or YaHuVeH, has the meaning of "I am that I am" or "I shall be what I shall be."  Such name suggests everything is what is called god, including inanimate objects because everything is what it is.

God is a difficult word to discuss, since everyone has a unique definition. By the teachings of most religions, it is a separate entity. But, I believe all life is interconnected and there is a higher consciousness intertwined between us.

Someone said if so, God is partly responsible for bad things happening. I guess that could be argued, but if all is connected then we made a conscious choice to participate. If all is connected, all is One. We are only blaming ourselves at arm's length.

Yes, He is the in dweller of all irrespective of our personal traits. He resides in each as a 'pure consciousness. In a way He is a mute witness and he is unaffected by the thoughts or actions of the individual beings. As pots filled up with water reflects the sun above, in every individual conscious, God is reflected.
