If Christianity is indeed the way, the truth and the life and presumably, a universal fact, then why for almost millions of years now do Christians still unable to convert all the people in the world to embrace this supposedly universal fact? On the contrary, it even stirred up more resistance against the secular world. Do Christian teachers have a problem with their semantic ability? Where they not credible enough to teach? Or is Christianity simply a fabricated truth? What do you think?

I continue to tell ALL GOD SAID (aka JESUS) "If you love me keep my "commandments" (John 14:15) and the GREATEST COMMANDMENT Was to show our LOVE for HIM by "obeying" REMEMBER?  Matthew 22:37-38 "Love the Lord thy GOD with all your heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the FIRST and GREATEST commandment.

We "SAY" we "Love the LORD" but do we "keep HIS commandments?"  If not, How can we LOVE HIM?

As I mentioned in my response to the original question, when your earthly father leaves home and leaves commands you obey or suffer consequences; the same it is with GOD!

GOD told us "AFTER THOSE DAYS" (or after HE ascends into heaven), HE would make a New Covenant wherein HE would "put HIS laws in our hearts and minds" (Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10; 10:16) and we would not have to "teach our neighbor anything" (Jeremiah 31:34) for HE would speak to us DIRECTLY as HE did the "apostles whom HE had chosen" on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 1:2)!

But who BELIEVES what's WRITTEN?  Did I not give Scriptures?  Now you have people not of the faith asking questions such as this!  You "Christians" should be "ASHAMED!"

My loving neighbor (BDN9385) would like to know why are we not "WITH ONE ACCORD?"  What happened?  Is Christianity simply a fabricated truth?  LOOK WHAT WE'VE DONE!  We didn't "OBEY" yet "PROCLAIM" Christianity and the world sees us as "A FABRICATED TRUTH!"  SAD!

Did not JESUS command us to "WAIT" (Acts 1:4) for the "Communication Line" (aka HOLY SPIRIT) from which HE would speak to us DIRECTLY?  Did HE not "PROMISE" the "Communication Line" ("The Comforter; aka HOLY SPIRIT) in John 14:26;16:13? Did GOD not say in Acts 1:2 "HE spoke to the Apostles whom HE had chosen" via the "Communication Line" (aka HOLY SPIRIT)?  Did GOD not say in Hebrews 13:8 JESUS CHRIST [is] the same yesterday, today and forever?"  Well, if HE did it "BACK THEN" HE does it "TODAY!"

But you didn't "WAIT!"  You didn't "OBEY" as "COMMANDED!"  You just "took off" with your "interpretation," your "knowledge, your "research," your "education," your "traditions" and CLAIM you LOVE THE LORD!

How can HE "Communicate" with with us IF we don't "connect?"  I've said BEFORE if GOD was Hispanic, we would have to learn Spanish, but GOD is "SPIRIT," what makes you think we don't have to learn how to "...worship HIM in Spirit..." (John 4:23-24)?

We are an embarrassment to "Christianity!"  We've just gone out and found a "denomination" that believes in what pleases "our" lifestyle and become a member!  If you are LBGT you find a denomination that accepts!  If you have interpreted Scripture to believe "The Trinity" you accept!  If you believe the Communion is to be done via ritual, you accept!  Anything that "pleases the flesh," you accept and "PROCLAIM" Christianity without "OBEYING" HIS COMMANDS!

How do you feel when a MUSLIM is asking "What happened in Christianity?"  How do you think GOD feels?  Don't you know HE'S TIRED of MOST "playing church?"

BDN:  I BELIEVE GOD places people in our lives to "show them" the RIGHT WAY!  I BELIEVE GOD'S WORD IS TRUE!  I BELIEVE when HE SAID "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in ALL the world for a witness unto ALL nations; and then SHALL THE END COME" (Matthew 24:14) IT IS TRUTH!

When GOD wrote HIS "inspired WORDS" (II Timothy 3:16) IT WAS FINISHED!  GOD SAID in Revelation 22:18-19 "For I testify unto EVERY MAN that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If ANY MAN shall ADD unto these things, GOD shall ADD unto him the plagues that are written in this book:  And if ANY MAN shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, GOD shall TAKE AWAY his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."  So the Prophet Muhammad, Buddha, Hinduism, NWT, KJV, or ANYONE ELSE should "FEAR" GOD for HE HAS SPOKEN!

However, not to worry IF you have "obeyed" HIS "LAST COMMANDMENT" - "WAIT" (Acts 1:4) for the "PROMISE" (John 14:26;16:13) who will "lead and guide you into "ALL" truth!" which includes "additions and deletions" as well!

Norine, as requested I have posted this forum for you. Let me be therefore clear on this. Christianity as we knew it today is very erratic. As I have said, it was not Christ who arrived 2000 years ago but God Himself, the Father of Christ. The Father did not explicitly revealed His true identity but wise people can discern it. Many times He implied it in His statements. Soon I will write a hub detailing that Christ did not come at the end of the 4th Millennium but will come at the start of the 7th Millennium instead.

God is probably the most misunderstood person of all, leaving an impression to skeptical people that He is an Evil Father who sacrificed His own Son. Why!? Did He allowed Isaac to be sacrificed by Abraham or did He provided another Lamb on his stead? He will never volunteer His Son to be killed for somebody else's sin! It was His Son who volunteered Himself after seeing the lead of His Father.

What Fathers do to His Son, He protects Him!

God 2000 years ago came and died on the Cross to:

        1. Create the great Sea Monsters which are Christianity & Islam
        2. Redeem His Son
        3. Secretly instruct His Son on what He is going to do on the latter days by Himself mimicking what is going to happen to Him on the latter days.

None of the prophecies pertaining to Christ has already been fulfilled 2000 years ago. It was just a play. Even the Devils knew that it was Him that's why they are very very afraid of Him. That is also the reason why He is able to perform all those miracles. Did He not say "Nobody came up to heaven except He that came down from Heaven, even the Son of Man" ?

Thus, we are still under the Old Testament with the exception that today, He might already be there hiding among us which is likely the case because it is already the end times.

The Job of His Son, today, the Anointed one of God is to:
        1. Preach the Gospel of the Truth unto all Nations which was secretly given unto Him by His Father.
        2. Call out His Church and Nurture Her to become His Wife in His Kingdom
        3. Fulfill everything that is written in the Bible pertaining to Him.

The World has been deceived by the Devil into thinking that He already came so that when He comes, People will see Him as the Anti Christ and fight against Him and kill Him. Then the Devil after wards will perform signs and wonders in heavens making people believe that it was already the 2nd coming of Christ.

And that is why God created the Islam! The Christians and the whole world  is going to reject Christ but He will find a refuge in Islam, the Armies of God. This has been foretold by the story of Solomon having a relationship with the Queen of Sheba (black but beautiful). Christ will be disguised as the Muslim's 12th Immam and will start punishing the World. The Bible calls it the wrath of the lamb! and the Sun turning into Black as sackcloth! The Mahabharata & Ramayana of the Hindus also foretold this story.

There are millions of things that we still do not know yet regarding the truth of the world. I hope and pray that God will enlighten us both. God Bless!

Now I do BELIEVE that GOD came "in the flesh" as JESUS CHRIST (I Timothy 3:16) and GOD DIED for us (Acts 20:28) by "shedding HIS own blood for the Church" but we are talking GOD who operates in "GLORIES" as we do (II Corinthians 3:18)!

John 1:14 says GOD "was in the world and the world was made by HIM and the world knew HIM not" in the GLORY "AS OF" the only begotten of the Father!"

Where we differ is to deny Christ never was "in the world!"  I John 2:22 says "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?  He is the antichrist, that denieth both the Father and the Son."

Where do you get your belief?  The Quran?  Who give Muhammad the authority to "add or delete" from the WORD of GOD?  Why do you think "a man" should be able to come in 500 years AFTER Bible is written and change the WORD of GOD?  Why would you believe "a man" vs GOD?
That would be like me coming in with another translation of HIS WORD saying "GOD SENT ME" and changing HIS WORD!  I would have to give in account in accordance with Revelation 22:18-19 ("Don't add or delete")!

How is following Muhammad working for you?  Do you have the "connection" to GOD!  Does Muhammad teach you to "WAIT" for the Spirit of GOD (aka Holy Spirit) to be "led" or do you have to do as our brother has stated on here "indepth study, prayer and contemplation?"  I have nothing against "indepth study, prayer or contemplation" but ONLY in accordance with WORD!  But when one asks "Why do you post so many Scriptures?" he is not of GOD!

Who told you Christ was not "in the world?"  I can't get over this!  You must explain via Scripture not Muhammad!

Norine, I don't get my belief in Quran I dont even know 1% of it. But every time I read  a Hadith or Quran messages I can sense the truth in it. Just as I can sense truth when I read Scriptures.  Just as I can sense truth sometimes in what you write and how you misunderstood them sometimes. I don't blindly believe on anything.

I am not denying that Jesus is the Christ. He is and there is no other else. But if you are going to tell me that It was Christ who came 2K yrs ago and shouted and boasted himself out in the streets to the point that the Romans and Pharisees could not anymore tolerate His clamor and arrogance and boldness and thus put Him into the cross, then I have to challenge your sense of perception of things. Even if Christ came, He would not do something like that, instead, He will execute everything discreetly, announcing the facts only to very few elect individual but keeping the world blind in general.

Now here is where the job of the apostles come. Again, another person, John, 2k yrs ago impersonated the true John who is going to come out today in our generation after Christ. That future John will fulfill the prophecies of  His predecessor John. That Future John will testify who is the true Christ and together with the future Peter, will lead the future Church of Christ.

You are accusing me because you misunderstood that I am denying the Christ whom you thought already existed according to John. Verily I say unto you, Another John will come to testify of another Christ on the latter days. That is the true Christ whom I believe. And as His Father foretold and enacted the rejection of His Son, so will that Christ be rejected by this generation. And everything that was written and was not fulfilled by Christ 2k yrs ago, will be fulfilled in that person whom God said, "Thou art my Son. On this Day I have begotten thee." "To whomever you see the Spirit of God descending from Heaven, that is the messiah who is to come."  "
His name will be called Immanuel which means God with us".

Everything the World has known is a lie and was allowed by God to happen because the World love lies more than the truth.

Again, it was God who sacrificed Himself 2k yrs ago to testify to the world that His Son is soon going to come. And everything He did, He did for the benefit of His Son and the World in general. He enacted and announced to the world the entitlement He is giving to His Son, not minding the embarrassment and suffering He is about to get as a consequence of his arrogant acts.

Only God Himself is qualified to do that. All because He is the one who masterminded everything to happen.

Norine, do you really know the Character of God?

Do you also know the Character of His Son?

I know "the character of GOD!"  HIS character is to allow one to believe anything they want to be truth so they can be lost if they didn't "OBEY HIM!"  ALL HE WANTS US TO DO IS "OBEY" HIS COMMANDMENTS!"  GOD desires "no one is lost" but "COMMANDS" "OBEDIENCE!"

I know "the character of JESUS" which is "TO DO THE WILL OF HIS FATHER" who came (aka GOD)  in the "GLORY" (GET THIS) "AS OF" the only begotten of the Father" (John 1:14)!   JESUS is GOD who "manifested HIMSELF in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16) "AS OF" the only begotten of the Father" and gave us an example of how we are to be "OBEDIENT" to HIS "COMMANDS" or LOST!

Some might why would HE do this?  Again, HE DEMANDS OBEDIENCE just as your earthly father or suffer consequences!

Norine, the primary characteristic of God, aside from His overflowing Love, is to take accountability for His own actions. He died on the cross because He is the culprit of everything. He will never pass the burden to anybody, much more so, His Son!?

Unfortunately, He is able to raise a child as descent as Him and after His Son witnessed the sincerity of His Father and how His Father is suffering so much for want of a spiritually descent Kingdom, His Son offered help if only that could ease the burden of His Father. The Father did not force His Son or demanded compliance from Him out of authority. It is the nature of God to lead by example and not demand. He forced no one to obey but if you can pierce right through His Heart and Soul, you will learn that everything that is written inside it is only for the Good of others, not His!

What Creator would come and not announce to His creation that: I came, so please receive me? Instead, He abandoned His own Glory and talked to the World only about His Son, How His Son is going to suffer in this generation, How He will be rejected and How His Son is going to rise in Power with His Holy Angels.

He intentionally disregarded the pain of that thorns in His head and worried only about His Son until the hour of His Death! He lived and died in this world and nobody noticed that it was Him, the Creator of all things!

Instead, the whole world rejoiced that somebody like Him took the damnation in our stead. Do you realized how evil Humanity is?

And then as if everything is still not enough. The Devil came, twisted the story and in the end, it is the Father who appeared Evil in the site of Men for believing that the Father intentionally sacrificed His Son to appease His angry spirit against the disobedient Humanity.

No! from the very beginning, it was Satan who is so fond of killing the Children for sacrifice. That is a Satanic ritual observed in so many Pagan Religions. The Devil perverted the image of God and if you are a Christian who only spouts nonsense day in day out, then you are most likely to fall into this trap.

But in all of this grave assault, did God came, avenge His honor and massacre everyone out of burst of anger? For thousands of years He did not. Because that is the kind of person He is. A descent one.

But verily I say unto you that on the last days, His Son will come having great wrath, and avenge His Father.

I sincerely hope that I have helped you understand a bit about God's Character based on my own very limited capacity.

                  Many Thanks and God Bless!

BDN:  We're talking THE CREATOR who can "split HIMSELF" into each of us so why not into Father, Son, Peter, Paul and ANYONE or ANYTHING else; IF HE DESIRES; simultaneously if HE LIKES!  DON'T "LIMIT" GOD!  HE "fills the heavens and earth!"

Yes, HE'S with us when we "go to the bathroom" and every place else.  David SAID in Psalms 139:1;7-10 "O LORD, thou hast searched me, and know me.  Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. (v7) Whither shall I go from thy spirit?  or whither shall I flee from thy presence?  (v8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. (9)  If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost part of the sea; (v10) Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me."

No matter where we go; HE IS THERE!

Stop "thinking" GOD is going to "establish a kingdom" when HE told us "the kingdom of GOD is within you" (Luke 17:21) but (v25) FIRST HE [JESUS] must suffer..."  Why would HE ask us to "SEEK YE FIRST the kingdom of GOD..." (Matthew 6:33) if IT wasn't available?  You think HE would tell us to "SEEK" Something that wasn't ALREADY there?  Why would your earthly father have you looking for something that isn't already there; then how much more would our Heavenly Father NOT ask us to "SEEK" Something that wasn't ALREADY there?

I don't know why you think GOD is NOT CAPABLE of operating in WHATEVER "GLORY" HE WISHES; simultaneously if HE DESIRES!  You've placed "LIMITS" on the CREATOR!

HE created angles and humans to "PRAISE HIM!"  HE is GOD and LOVES PRAISE!  HE told us "If we don't praise HIM; HE'LL make the rocks praise HIM" (Luke 19:40) that's how much HE LOVES PRAISE!  HE doesn't need us, we need HIM!

Not only can we see HIS GLORIES with the natural eye, but IF we BELIEVE, OBEY and HAVE FAITH in what HE HAS SAID, HE will manifest HIMSELF unto us and we will "Change into HIS likeness" (aka "from glory to glory") as stated in II Corinthians 3:18!  If we don't BELIEVE, HIS SPIRIT lies dormant in us "WAITING" for us to "SEEK HIS FACE" (II Chronicles 7:14) because "HIS HAND IS STILL STRETCHED OUT" (throughout the book of Isaiah)!

Too "unspiritual" for me!  BELIEVING means "in HIS WORD" not "opinions of men!"  If you BELIEVE then maybe you would see some action from GOD and not be like "proclaimed" Christians asking "Why can't you see the actions of GOD in them," Why so many disagreements," Why can't they convince anyone of TRUTH," etc.  They have the SAME attitude as you do!  Let's research everything to find "truth" when GOD said "If they speak (or research) not according to THIS WORD, there is no light in them" (Isaiah 8:20)!

It seems everyone is "smarter than GOD!"

This "Communication System" ("I create evil and good") is being used by GOD to fulfill Scripture (Matthew 24:14) which is the only "good" it serves!  For every question on this "system" there is an answer and an answer which opposes it!  Man decides which of the two answers he will choose.  GOD doesn't contradict HIMSELF as this "Communication System" does!  HE has ONE MIND which doesn't LIE!  Man finds an answer to "fit his desires!"

Yes Isaiah is saying a "little of everything in the Bible" or he would not have said "If they speak not according to this word there is no light in them" (Isaiah 8:20)!

Go "outside" and remain "confused as MOST who THINK they are "smarter than GOD!"

Which makes Muhammad's doctrine 500 years less since written 500 years AFTER Bible!  Right?

Jesus is the way and the truth and the light.

Has it ever occurred to you that the benefit of being a Christian is in knowing and believing the Good News? This doesn't mean that it isn't Good News for all of the world: just that we, as believers, benefit while here on earth by knowing the truth that applies to all?

That Jesus was the ransom sacrifice. For humanity. You can't give a gift and then chose to put parameters on it. The problem I see with organized Christianity is that they cannot accept that a gift given freely cannot be taken away by others. God gave the gift. Not you, not me. It is not within your power or the power of anyone to take that away from anyone else. We attempt to say 'yes, but' because it is so exceptionally extraordinary it is difficult to believe.

Don't you think it odd that this is supposed to be Good News but your interpretation implies that billions upon billions will not benefit? How can that be classified as good news?

The apostles were just men attempting to find some meaning in what they experienced. They were not Jesus. No where is it implied that the stories they wrote were divinely inspired. They were simply attempting to document what they had experienced and attempting to make some sense of it all. Paul is another conversation entirely but he did have the honesty to admit on, at least one occasion, that it was simply opinion he was sharing and it should be taken as such.

I didn't "put parameters on it," GOD DID!  Go Get your Bible!

If JESUS SAID "I kept them" (John 17:12) you don't believe HE "kept them?"  The disciples were empowered with the Holy Spirit (as we should be IF "Disciples of Christ") as JESUS walked the earth with them.  READ John 17! Now you can "think" they were "mere men," and sometimes their flesh overtook them (as us) but JESUS (aka The Holy Spirit) "kept them!"

Why would I call JESUS the Holy Spirit?  John 14:26 said "The Father will send IN MY NAME.." (Jesus talking) so the Holy Spirit's name is JESUS!  Got your Bible?  Am I making this up?

It can be classified as "Good News" ONLY if one "OBEYS!"  Did JESUS say "If you LOVE ME keep my commandments" (John 14:15)?  Didn't HE "command" us to "WAIT" (Acts 1:4) for the "PROMISE" we had heard from HIM" (Acts 1:4)?  Did we not "hear from HIM" in John 14:26; 16:13?  Got your Bible?  READ IT!

In Jeremiah 31:33-35 GOD spoke of the New Covenant under which the "Good News" (aka GRACE) would be given!  HE also witnessed with Scriptures in Hebrews 8:10; 10:16!  Got your Bible?  READ IT!

BEFORE JESUS ascended, HE "commanded us to "WAIT" (Acts 1:4) for the "PROMISE" so we would be able to receive the "laws HE would put in our hearts and in our minds" as stated in Jeremiah and Hebrews via the Holy Spirit as stated in Acts 1:2!  Did you READ IT?

Now "If we LOVE HIM we will keep HIS commandments" (John 14:15) and if we "kept HIS commandments" BEFORE HE ASCENDED we would acquire the "Communication Line" (aka Holy Spirit) to HIM so HE would be able to "put HIS laws in our hearts and minds" but without, we're on our own misinterpreting Scripture!

That is the TEST!  Show GOD you LOVE HIM by "keeping HIS commandments" and "WAIT" for the "PROMISE" by which HE will be able to "put his laws in our hearts and minds" to receive the "Good News" of GRACE!

The apostles were NOT "just men!"  When GOD "chooses" one, you're no longer "just a man" for CHRIST dwells within!  One may walk around in the flesh but GOD "puts his laws in our hearts and minds"  as HE did the apostles!  They were "vessels" for JESUS!  ALL who are "in Christ" are "vessels for JESUS!"  IT IS WRITTEN "the stories they wrote were divinely inspired!"  Got your Bible?  READ II Timothy 3:16 which says "ALL SCRIPTURE IS "INSPIRED BY GOD..."  Did I make this up?

Paul was operating "in Christ's stead!"  Get your Bible!  II Corinthians 5:20 says "...we pray you IN CHRIST'S STEAD...!"  Paul was a "chosen vessel" for Christ (Acts 9:15) and was in no way "just a man!"  He operated "in Christ's stead!"  That why he said "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ" (I Corinthians 11:1)!

Paul said in I Corinthians 7: 6 "But I speak this by permission (FROM GOD), and not of commandment" which implies what he spoke was "permitted of GOD" but not "commanded by GOD!"  Get you Bible?  Am I lying?  It was not "his opinion" for he was given "permission" from GOD to speak!

As far as "hopping around in Scripture," the Prophet Isaiah gives us instructions as to how we should "STUDY" the WORD of GOD!  Isaiah 28:10-13 "...here a little and there a little..."  Go get your Bible and READ verses 10-13!  Did I make this up?

IF IT IS WRITTEN GOD SAID LISTEN!

      Millions of years?

      I knew it.

In all seriousness though the mystery is not hard to solve, Jesus never intended to start a religion separate to Judaism. The Apostle Paul, among others, spread Jesus' story to the Gentiles. At some point after decades of oral tradition this fledgling Jesus cult had its teachings written down by Greek scribes and spread the Greek speaking world. Because most of those who could read were wealthier and more well educated (literacy being rare in the ancient world) this meant eventually Christianity spread to powerful people. Once Constantine picked it up and made it the official Roman religion that solidified it as a religion but of course it started as an offshoot of Judaism, a cult.

It's clear from certain passages in the New Testament that Jesus believed the Kingdom of God would come in the lifetime of his immediate followers, Jesus himself says this is the case. Christianity has thus been in anticipation of the end times since its inception all those 'millions' of years ago.

It's luck that Christianity is even known about today, let alone one of the world's major religions, considering it was started by a lower class Rabbi who seems to have intended it merely as an addendum to his native Jewish faith.

The million years is just a bait.  Lol! Are you open for new ideas or do you have faith already in yourself and what you know? If that's the case, I have no intention to contest your belief then because it would be much easier for me to push a mountain than to move you. But just the same, thank you for sharing and dropping by. God Bless! smile

You're right in saying "the kingdom of God came in the lifetime of Jesus' immediate followers in HIS lifetime," it says so in Luke 17:21;25  "...the kingdom of God is within you"  (v25) But FIRST must HE suffer many things, and be rejected of THIS generation."

Before HE died, HE "Promised" to SEND the "kingdom of God' (aka Holy Spirit) in John 14:26;16:13 and sent IT on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:2!  Christians are looking for a "PLACE" which is in error!  They just read verse 21 but didn't continue!

That's why MISFIT "thinks" IT'S in ALL!

Using her analogy, I wish IT would have showed up for the presidential election last night!  lol

The Kingdom of GOD is what JESUS asked us to "SEEK YE FIRST..." (Matthew 6:33)!  However, IT was not available to us (Luke 17:25) UNTIL "But FIRST HE MUST SUFFER..." or until AFTER HE DIED and "SENT" (Acts 2:2) "THE PROMISE" (John 14:26; 16:13)!

Get your Bible!  READ IT!  Am I LYING?

The "Good News" is "GRACE!"  But we MUST "OBEY" and "RECEIVE" HIS "PROMISE" (John 14:26;16:13) to "connect" to HIS SPIRIT for "Communication" DIRECTLY from HIM (Jeremiah 31:34)!  THEN HE will be able to "give us COMMANDMENTS" as HE did "the Apostles whom HE had chosen" on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 1:2)!  Didn't HE SAY HE would "put his laws in our hearts and minds" under the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10; 10:16)?  How are we going to "RECEIVE" those laws without "CONNECTION?"

I'm telling you man, UNLESS WE "CONNECT," we're "doing our own thing" THINKING we are serving GOD!  We MUST "OBEY" or repercussions of IGNORANCE!

UNLESS we OBEY, 33K+++ denominations will continue and questions such as this will arise from those not of the faith!  We need to stop embarrassing GOD saying "We LOVE the LORD" yet don't "OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS!"

I'm afraid I'm not open to nonsense taught by uneducated preachers to unsuspecting people. I can guarantee you that you don't communicate directly. Believing you do is the first step away from any understanding.

This is, of course, my opinion. But one derived from an indepth study, prayer and contemplation.

Norine Williamsposted 7 years agoin reply to this

Did I not give Scripture?  You call the WORD of GOD "nonsense?"  Is it because TRUTH wasn't taught in your "seminaries" or "formal educational" settings?

No!  I don't "communicate directly" because HIS WORD conflicts with what you've been "taught" (Satan; aka RELIGION)!

I see how you arrived at "your opinion," through "indepth study, prayer (to whom) and contemplation" yet no "Communication Line!"  If you had "connected" to GOD, you would BELIEVE HIS WORD!  However, you've "connected" to "indepth study" and "teachings;" "contemplating!"

Let me tell you what GOD SAID!  "For ye see your calling brethren, how that NOT MANY WISE MEN AFTER THE FLESH, NOT MANY MIGHTY, NOT MANY NOBLE, are CALLED:  But GOD has chosen the FOOLISH things of the world to CONFOUND THE WISE; and GOD hath CHOSEN THE WEAK things of the world to CONFOUND THE THINGS WHICH ARE MIGHTY" (I Corinthians 1:26-27)!

Now where does that leave you with all of "your" wisdom and "your" education?  "Contemplating?"

Chances sounds pretty slim ("Not many"), depending on how "educated" one is!

Honestly? I call this CAPS ON caps off type of posting nonsense.

As you said, they said that the laws would be written on our hearts and minds so, out of curiosity, why are you posting so much scripture? Does that mean nothing is written on your heart or mind?

                1. profile image51
Norine Williamsposted 7 years agoin reply to this

If you've studied so "indepth," why do you not know Scripture?  Is it because HE doesn't "put ANYTHING in your heart and mind" (Jeremiah 31:33) or "bring all things to your remembrance" (John 14:26)?

Since HE doesn't "bring all things to your remembrance" let me remind you DEFY SCRIPTURE by asking "Why do you post so much Scripture?" because HE SAID in Isaiah 8:20:  "To the law and to the testimony; IF THEY SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO "THIS WORD," IT IS BECAUSE THERE IS "NO LIGHT IN THEM!"

Again, you forgot to get that "Communication Line!"  How's that "indepth study, prayer and contemplation" working for ya?

You DEFY SCRIPTURE AGAIN:  "they" didn't say "GOD SAID" HE would "put his laws in our hearts and minds" (Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10; 10:16) but I see you don't know ANYTHING about that do you?

I see how that "indepth study, prayer and contemplation" is working for ya!

I don't quote scripture because anyone can develop a philosophy by bouncing around to find the scripture to back an opinion. Doubt it? Go to a JW funeral (or recruiting session as we called it).

If God had expected you to get the lesson you are attempting to teach out of the life of Jesus, I suppose Jesus would have taken the trouble to write it down so everyone would agree.

You are like most religious people.Attempting to make everyone agree with you or attempting to horde the promise and deny others. That is not your right and not within your power. No matter how much scripture you spout.
