Dr. George Tiller a Christian and an abortion doctor was killed at church. Did Jesus approve?
Ironically Dr. George Tiller was shot while worshipping Jesus at church. The gunman was a Christian as well. Did Jesus approve of Dr. Tillers death?
The Christ came to give life not take it.
The enemy came to take life not give it.
All will receive their due reward from whom ever they serve, make no mistake about that.
some people have a strong opinion about abortion. firstly, the guy doing the shooting was no christian as far as i am concerned. So we need to beef our definition of christian again.
Man loves to make up his own laws and determine things for himself, but really when two, ummmm, things (for lack of a better term) come together and pregnancy occurs, its life, pure and simple.
john the baptist leapt in the womb when mary showed up theres an indication that babies know stuff in the womb.
just sayin.
The only true irony I find in this is that an abortion Doctor called himself a christian. But, to answer the question, no, Jesus di not approve. There are those that would argue Jesus does approve, but, biblically, neither man was right. All life is sacred in the eyes of Christ, hence His death to give life to all men.
In fact, God says in His word that vengence is His-He will re-pay. He also says the He is the Author And Finisher, only He has the authority to give and to take life.
That being said, some of that authority is delegated to the state, ie capital punishment. He also charges a man to defend his family as the provider and protector. If the state ever usurps that authority and makes it mandatory to kill all unborn babies, a man defending his family would be justified.

What is the matter with people? The U.S. used to be a place where reasonable people could disagree reasonably. Now we have religious zealots gunning down doctors during Church services. Plus, it's happened before--it just so happens that this time it happened in a Church. Here we are obsessing...

Why does it seem most Christians are immature. It seems most people professing to be Christian do not have a proper grounding in the scriptures. They drink the milk but do not seem to be able ( or maybe no desire?) to eat the real meat- understand the deeper things of God, in spite of the fact...
