I cannot track down a specific answer but I believe it refers to the bible verse of Matt 28:18 - 20 which says:
We are baptised in the name of the Father, Son and Spirit: the one and the many conjoined, reflecting the profoundly trinitarian roots of the whole concept and course of salvation.
This is a reference to the shamrock, its three leaves so to leave a son a shamrock you leave with him blessings for safety.
Of course someone else will have a completely different view but I am not responsible for them lol

Atheists often ask for proof of Jesus being the son of God. If Jesus came to earth and everyone realized He is the son of God, would you still reject Him as your saviour?
