Darkness is the absence of light.
Guess we consider that the opposite of.
God is light. Anything that exists outside of Him is darkness. Genesis says that the heavens and the earth were originally created "in" light. So our environment was originally created from within (the mind of) God, and then sin entered into it afterwards, but this was all part of the plan...it was foretold, as everything is already written.
Dark and light exist in synchronicity. There is no dark without light and there is no light without dark. These components MUST EXIST within and of each other. read more
