Because it makes life so much more worth living. The harder things are, the easier and better everyday life will appear. The one who suffers the most can also be the happiest.

For MEASUREMENT AND STABILITY OF SPIRIT IS
WHY WE HAVE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS.
For every positive thought, there is a negative encounter.
And for every negative thought, there is a solution.
    It's call "SPIRITUAL WARFARE".

Father God permist Lucifer, satan, to test us and test our love of God therefore we go through various trials and tribulations throughout our life, and how we react and or how we correct our mistakes will demonstrate our love for God.

Trials and tribulations help a Christan to grow in the Lord. Sometimes they will take away onto another path but the Grace of God will bring you Home. His Love is what gives us this assurance that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and if we believe in Him we will be lead back unto God the Father.

first of all whats the difference between a trial and a tribulation.

trial: that by which something is tried or proved, a test
tribulation: oppression, affliction, tribulation, distress, straits

it would seem the duration of time involved.

A test is to firm up the steadfastness of ones belief.
A tribulation would be to correct or reprove a work of darkness that is causing a christian to stumble.

tests might be all around us in society
tribulations might be sent of god to do his work in our lives.
