Fruit of the Holy Spirit (God), is the same as the Fruit of the tree of life, it is a manner of fruits, 12 different fruits.

Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Tree of life is God (Holy Spirit)

This is a letter by St Paul the apostle, who was of course English (otherwise how could he have written the bible?).

He was writing to Galatians who spoke only Galatian and couldn't do plurals.

The nine fruits mentioned represent the nine lost tribes of the Galatians.

Hope this helps. If not, write a hub about it.
