The bible says: People who accept correction are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore it...
will lead others astray.
Sorry for sounding like its a Simon says game!
So what does this mean to you?
It means that we must be careful what we are telling people on the Hub Pages and everywhere else; otherwise we lead them astray. Will we make mistakes? Yes. We change negative energy by being positive pray, repent and do what you can to make things right.
To me that means that we have to take the advice we recieve and thus improve ourselves. This in turn will help us lead a life where we are constantly moving forward, as we are accepting our mistakes. However those who ignore these corrections will continue doing things wrong. This undoubtidly will lead to them influencing others with their incorrect views or actions, which in turn can lead to unsuspecting other individuals making the same mistake.
Correction, is good for growth. And when you correct or fix the wrongs in your life - a good example is set for people to follow. People are watching you if you are right or wrong. If you ignore correction, you will lead a life of destruction, and worse than that, you will lead other people in the same destructive path you are going.
In other words,
Improvement is better, but ignorance leads to death.
Thanks for the question.
Bascially there are only two ways to go, the right way and the wrong way. What is being said here is if one leads their life or follows the guidelines/path set forth in the bible they will have eternal life. Those who don't will not.
However the older I become the less I buy into many of the bible stories.
Right now I'm of the belief that God made man and man made religion. Back in those days religion was tied to government and it was used as another tool to control the masses.
If we take away all the bibles and holy books we will be closer to the truth.

What is the best way to explain the existence of God to an atheist?I've heard people try to convince atheists that there is a God by quoting the Bible or some other holy book. But quoting from such materials won't work. You have to believe in them before you can accept them as plausible...

How can someone who is Bible oriented not accept that God is love? Here is what the Bible says in one of the most easy to understand of all verses: Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. Now I read that as "because God is love:" What happened to Hell and damnation....

Do you believe non-religious people, who lead a good life, are still going to hell? One of my biggest frustrations with religion is the idea that, how you live your life is of no consequence if you do not accept god. For example, John Smith is a good christian man who helps people, obeys the law and...
