What responsibility do you feel God holds us accountable for in terms of our "deeds" in this lifetime?

Comment whether or not you believe in a "higher power" being enough to guarantee a peaceful afterlife.

i think the biggest responsibility is to treat others the way you want to be treated and be you a believer in God or not, people still value this one above all else.
the question for me is this.
if someone treats me in a manner that is not kind, belligerent, nasty, hateful, insulting or just down right deliberately evil.
am i going to still treat them the way i would like to be treated and not return evil for evil, insult for insult, hatred for hatred?
but just treat them with love, respect and humility like i would want?
this is a great test for all of us, few can do this. those that can are like a magnet of love and peace and are not shaken from without.

"Do unto other as you would have others do unto you"Jesus
The most important thing is being unselfish and looking at the good for all rather then the self.

Yes there is the Light which is mans true home and death is just the door to this dimension.
