How can we develop a healthy and godly character in our Christian life?
I feel that we should follow the example of Jesus Christ. He was sent here by the Father God to live his life here on this earth as an example for all to see and to follow. Jesus spent his life caring for others, teaching people about God and His plan for our lives. Jesus led a perfect life without sin. He also died on the cross for our sins so that we may have forgiveness for our sins. We need to spend time in Bible study and prayer. God is here for us to talk to and express our needs and also for God to show us what he wants of our lives If we can keep the lines of communication open between ourselves and God then we can know the perfect will of God for our lives and live our lives more effectively.
i would think through reading his word and imaiting the actions of jesus
Be selective in who you associate with. Don't socialize with ungodly people. This will remove a lot of temptation a new believer doesn't need.
Start your morning with Bible reading, meditation and prayer. This will put you in the frame of mind you need for a good day.
Let me answer your question with a verse in the Bible:
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
