They see us. Some of them really try to break into our limited world. A thin but real line separates us....
What a creative question! Are you asking, Did ghosts forget what it was like to be human, in the transition?
By "believe in", are you asking whether they think humans are capable of extraordinary things- in the manner of believing in God?
Or do you mean, do ghosts believe humans exist?
Tales of ghosts often describe events that indicate they do believe in humans, considering many of them seem to intentionally haunt people and others attempt to communicate with them. Certainly Eva Ibbotson's ghosts believe that people exist, because they interact with them. If the movie Ghost is any indication, some ghosts have unfinished business with humans; this type of ghost probably believes in their existence.
I am assuming you mean "do ghosts believe humans exist", which is fun, but "do ghosts think humans can do great things" intrigues me even more. Stimulating question. Thanks!
Yes I believe they do..
I have had quite a few encounters....
Interestingly enough when I have gone to someone's house and sensed their presence and then prayed and asked it to go in the name of Jesus and it has left or they...I just had this happen in the last year at a friends house...she had not told me about it. I was cleaning the carpets just before they moved in and could feel it very strongly and knew I was not alone. So I asked the Holy Spirit to show me how to pray and he did and it left. The next day when my friend arrived she told me the house felt so peaceful and so I told her what had happened and she told me that she and her grandmother had heard it walking around...it has never come back.
Ghosts do not exist, so they don't believe in us. And if they did of course they would believe in us they HAUNT us.
It seems that they'd know humans are real. I think the spirit world is beyond earthly knowledge; and, since many spirits have lived life as the 'living' their intellect should be beyond ours.
They do exists.
I have personal experience.
I feel that I need to tell you a word of caution here:
do not attempt to contact any force from other plane if you dont know what are you doing.
Excellent question! I was raised in a haunted house, actually. Everyone in the family saw a strange gremlin-like specter sprinting down the hallway once every few nights, and there was no way you could walk down that hall without breaking into a run yourself. It felt as if something was chasing after you, no matter how hard you forced yourself to keep your pace.
Just glad to be out of there. But the experience has taught me that ghosts come in two categories: those who were once human, and those that were never alive in the first place.
The ones that were human hang around because they don't realize they're dead. They still think they're human. And the ones that were never alive are pretty dang nasty toward us, so I figure that means they believe.
I'm not a ghost so I'll let them do the talking because I don't know.

I'm an atheist, yet I'm open-minded enough to acknowledge that God might exist. If you are a theist, are you open-minded enough to acknowledge that He might not?

A few weeks ago I asked what I thought was quite a serious, searching question about the existence of God, and was rather disappointed when it got a very limited response. (This could have been because we were all wrestling this other equally important issues at the time.)Peter Lopez made a valiant...

What is your opinion on the reason we exist? We all have our own reasoning for the purpose we exist, some say its through evolution we came to be, others have different views on the matter, what is your view? I firmly believe something in our perfect creation, with all the organs in our body aligned...

I can understand the positives of putting your faith in such and such religion, which is why I do not think religion as a whole should be completely eradicated, however in this day and age I honestly wouldn't mind if it was.My question is this: why does religion NEED to exist? If you say "So...
