   Well here is the non-PC answer.  We are all sinners, it is just inevitable.  I hate giving answer that I know will get voted down 8-)

   We're just environmentally different. Some are more outgoing and willing to negotiate, others are quick to argue. Violence and disagreement is just natural amongst our people.

   Not everyone wants to jump aboard on the love train that is going around the world 24 hours a day everyday on the earth right now on the earth. Human beings do have the ability and capacity to get along with each other. This is done by using wisdom with every person that we have contact with in our every day life and especially on hubpages section of questions and answers. The forums are just plain brutal and many people get banned from the forums. So let us out of love not attack each other and have mutual respect for each other through our different life experiences and opinions. The love train is now departing from Fort Collins, Colorado; who wants to jump aboard and be counted starting with me. Everyone is welcome. Glory to GOD.

   We're human. We're imperfect. We have to quarrel, it's in our nature. Unfortunately there's no way to fix that, and even if we could, would it necessarily be a good thing in the long run? Think of all that competition and war has done to further progress for the whole of humanity. Not saying that war is in any way good, but it is a good catalyst for industrial expansion.
   
   If everyone got along, there would be no bad, but there would also be no good...just an overwhelmingly apathetic world of people with no aspirations, no dreamers. I'm trying to think of a book to reference, but just google "utopia" and you should find a lot of people who think similarly.
   
   But then again, it WOULD be nice if we could just try and get along... or at least quit bombing and shooting each-other.

   We can't get along for several reasons.
   Me, me, me, is more important than you, you and you. IE Selfishness.
   We don't usually understand others, who they are, where they come from (their history), why they are as they are etc. Sadly, we don't take the time to find out.
   Racial, social, religious, economic, ethnic and geographical differences separate us.
   Poor upbringing, not financially so much, but in education and training. Racism, for one thing, is taught, either by direct teaching, or, more often modelled.
   There are probably more that I don't care to mention, since this is not meant to be too long an answer.

   It is the desire of most people who want something when others cannot get so it create frictions among people.
   
   If we can learn the simple way of sharing with one another then it will be easier in getting along. But at times we are selfish so that will be hard to get along.
   
   Learn to accept one another and I personally believe it will help in acceptance.

   no we can't. never mind the nice answers, the reality is that between politics, religion and just plain greed, humans will always have turmoil around them. we could all live under one government, worship the same god or whatever and we would still kill, lie, fight etc. it's what makes us who we are.

    To get along does not mean we need to agree.
    Maybe some of us have not learned how to respect other people and their opinions?

    It would be difficult that we all get along because of different personalities, tastes, backgrounds and opinions.  It would be nice that we could all get along, but we can try anyhow and be more tolerant towards one another.
