Are you interested in interfaith dialogue?
Are you interested in interfaith dialogue between Islam, Judaism, Christianity, and other faiths such as Buddhism and Neo-Paganism?
Yes you are welcome I would like to know much about these religions. From a learning point of view I would like to involve myself in such dialogues. I will be thankful if I am educated on this subject.
Thank you
Of course. At the core religion is the same. Choice of Deity and doctrine is the seperation. Learning leads to understanding and that leads to tolerance.
I think it'd be very interesting. Are you going to pose questions here or in a Hub?
I am an atheist - but that doesn't mean that I regard an understanding between faiths to be a negative.
Seeing Muslims and Christians standing shoulder to shoulder - both opposed to Autocracy and Despotism - in Cairo's Tahrir Square was, for me, very encouraging.
Likewise in Bahrain - seeing banners proclaiming, 'It 's not about Shia and Sunni, it 's about Bahrain,' was also a positive development.
The more the faiths talk to one another the harder it becomes for those who would sow strife and distrust between them.
I must say, though, that - if all of these people were atheists - the hate/war mongers (for profit) wouldn't get a look-in in the first place.
No, not any longer..........been there, seen that, read about it, saw the bombs, the protests at the military funerals...............never blamed the Jewish community........
Meetings, discussions, run amonk, they are right upthere with corporate time wasting.
Just do the things that need doing.
I already know what needs to be done....
Be kind, be considerate, be truthful, be fair and just, be accountable, be generous to those in need........
I know the PC answer is yes, tolerance, and all that. But if I am honest, no, I am not interested in interfaith dialogue.
I would like to see religious leaders in talk
The leaders need to talk to each other in order to bring more peace in world
Yes, it would not only be a chance to explain my belief in Christianity but also to gain understanding of other beliefs. I studied Islam briefly and was surprised to learn that Muslims believe in the existence of Jesus as a man and prophet. This has led me to understand that Islam does not believe in a savior but I also respect Islam more because some of the values are reasonable and honorable. Let's do it!

Are there any similarities between Christianity and the older pagan faiths? If so, what are they and how were they incorperated into Christianity. Please explain and be somewhat detailed on whatever side of the argument you are on. Both sides of the story, and in between, are most welcome. Please...

Many people fall in love with people from other religion. They'd like to be with their other half but are limited by religion.

Christians, why are you not Muslim?I have already spoken to many Muslims about why they are not christian so now I wish to hear the other view. So far it seems Christians don't know much about Islam and when they learn about it along with the faults of christianity then they often convert; however,...
