    Are these the end times?

With all that is transpiring in the world around us are these the end of days?

Absolutely not! I don't see anything that is really any worse than the way things were over the past several hundred years. Natural disasters occur. Terrorism happens. None of this is new. The only thing that is new is that more people know about it because the Internet allows easy access to all that is wrong with the world.

Yes, I know, we see more negative stuff on-line than we do positive stuff. That is because people like to talk about what is wrong, and not what is right. If we all stopped focusing on the negative, and living in the positive, we would all be much happier people.

I totally agree with grandslambert! I truly think that we will never really know when the end time is. Throughout history many societies believed it was the end due to global disasters. There have even been cults that members committed suicide because they thought it was the end. I don't think we will ever know-until it's over!

How can anyone who believes in the end times answer that question?  Does it not come with not knowing?

"However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen,

not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself.

    Only the Father knows.

It is what it is. Stay tuned in to see if you will be still alive and living on the earth when it all comes together in 1 final event which will bring Jesus Christ coming back again to establish the ruling and reigning of GOD on the earth through Jesus Christ and myself along with others who have proven themselves to reign along side of Jesus Christ when his reigning comes into power and enforcement over humanity after allowing mankind a chance to rule in righteousness but have come far short in establishing this as you can see by looking all around the world.

The humans are probably so stupid they will kill themselves off but nature is able to cope and once the trash is gone the planet will be just fine and will thrive again... and the universe has no end of time.

If we - all of us - and our world were destroyed tomorrow it wouldn't be the end of days. The Universe will just go on - with new stars and galaxies forming - expanding outwards into the void forever. People need to understand how small and insignicant we are on the cosmic scale of things. It really isn't all about us. When we go the Universe will not even notice.

everyday is the end of times for some. this idea that the world is going to end or that the rapture or judgement day is coming is nothing but silliness . i find it rather bothersome that people get so wrapped up in religion that they even consider it to be factual. i bet if you could slowly go back in history, the end of times has been proclaimed by religion hundreds of times. rediculous.

    Only time will tell.

We can only make predictions but we can't say for certain what is going to happen in 20, 50, 100 or even 1000 years time.

If we are wiped off the face of the earth by natural catastrophes such as floods, famine or 'locusts like insects', then earth will just probably be as barren as the other planets.  New life might grow and thus continue the life cycle.

In Biblical terms, yes although we can't be sure what the Second Coming would be like so it would depend on our faith in God and His words.
