Do you believe in Life after death? And what happens to you after you are dead?

   I feel that I can answer this one.  When I was nineteen, I was married to a very abusive man that one day strangled me and left me for dead. As he was strangling me, the tv and washer and dryer were on, but it looked like a fogged view of everything and the world took on a sluggish movement so to speak just like in the movies.  As I blacked out, I was in a totally black something, and very far away was a pinpoint, bright light that was warm and got closer and closer. I felt at that time, I was in a tunnel, and the light kept coming towards me, brighter and brighter, warmer and warmer. As this occured in my brain, I prayed to God that I was too young to die, there was so much more I wanted to do. At the same time, just like in the cartoon, I felt as if I was floating out of my body, felt queasy to my stomach, and as I continued to float and beg for my life, it was like a massive magnet sucked me back, voom, and I woke up.  I don't know how long I lay there unconscious, but, from that point on, yes, I beleive the soul lives on.

   Yes i do believe that there is a life after death. You can see that in Hinduism, Christianity and Islam there is also life after death so how can we regret this truth.

   no.  when you die, you are gone.  although i do feel people are reconstituted from the elements, not reincarnated as the same personality or soul, albeit we do have very similar characteristics.  but this is just a part of the inherent rule.

   I am not a religious being, but that does not mean I am not a spiritual one.
   Life after death, I like to believe there is, a form of ascension into a plane of enlightenment and all knowing. I like to think we become the "Ultimate Observers" of our own universes.
   
   Either way we cannot know for sure until we get there.

   i do believe in life after death.  I believe that when transition from the physical into the spiritual, that existance is dependant upon our individual belief system at the time of our transition.
