    Bascially religions are man-made not God made. Spiritual laws are the same for every person. Religions are made to interepret those laws as the writers saw fit, some according to culture. Therefore any errors are not made by the spiritual but by human authors and interpreters.

      But "I believe" Jesus when He said  in John 14:26 & 16:13 that "the Comforter" (Holy Spirit) would lead & guide us into ALL truth" [paraphrasing]!  Amen!

    Who taught you this wisdom ankandhk  ... that God hath created many Religions and Beliefs !

    God Hath not created Religions ... man has ...

    And as for His creating many Beliefs ...
    The Truth Is, there is only One Belief ... and the Way to the Correct Belief, is to Believe Truly, and Sincerely .

      True but you have to have accurate knowledge , then base your sincerity on truth , it does not work on false beliefs
      Like the computer, we know we can access a subhect, but if we put the wrong info in to access ,we get nowhere time wasted..

    One way to look at this is simply by interpreting each religion to be a different version of the same "basic" idea.  Humans are imperfect and so each religion has its own differences, but they were all created in a positive light right?

    And then of course there is a the story of the Tower of Babel in Christianity that speaks of all people attempting to build a tower into the heavens.  God found out and changed the world so that all different languages were formed, hindering communication.  This could be spun a little differently to say that by creating different languages, he created different cultures which then led to different religions and different takes on religion.

      God didn't make "religion" - man did!  There is nothing in Scripture that speaks to the word "religion" as a good thing (James 1:26-27 religion is used as a fallacy)!  There is only "Jesus' Doctrine" as stated in II Cor 4:1-7!

    I tend to agree with my husband who says the Creator is like the concept of getting to Rome. There are many paths to there and we can take whichever one is most suitable for us individually, but in the end we all reach the same destination.

      Your husband  clearly has a bias opinion. Can you make a decision on this subject with your own thoughts? Because you may be surprised what you believe. He is your husband, He is not your leader. Search the truth yourself. Then answer the question.

      Beth: Read Galatians 1:6-9! Not all will "reach the same destination" unless we're ALL going to hell!  Gal says it TWICE - "LET HIM BE ACCURSED!"  Serious business! Don't head for the wrong "destination" - STUDY!

    God never made religion, man did. You have two covenants. The first is the Old Testament, and the second the New Testament. The simplicity of it is this. Jesus did a way with all the laws, "This does not mean the ten commandments" but the laws of Moses. Jesus gave us two laws. Love God with all your heart soul, mind and strength, And to love your neighbor as yourself. Remember, Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship between man and God through Christ. Jesus confused many by signs wonders, and miracles. The pharisees were the religious who crucified Him. They could not accept that the Messiah, prophesied by major prophets such as Isaiah, would be who He was. I guess they were thinking of a person draped in gold that kept away from the horrors of society. Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons and engaged with all walks of life. He was who was prophesied.
    To live by the Laws of Moses is totally impossible. Also if you are to live according to the old testament you must fulfill it, otherwise it will account for nothing. And to live by the old covenant is impossible! Anyone trying to live by the five books of Moses cannot fulfill them. even down to a fiber of clothing being mixed was a sin!

    Religions are man made, such as Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. They all contradict the word of God and cannot stand firm. There is only one way to live, and that is to have a relation with God through Christ. Look into every religion and you will find that it contradicts itself. All anyone needs is the New Testament to live a fulfilled life. Religion has been the cause of many wars and still is today. Yet, if we were to live by the two Laws Jesus gave, there would be no war at all. Man is scared of death because he knows he lives in sin. Many religions have been made up to make ones self feel better, but this does not remove the sin in the soul of men and women. Jesus kept it very simple, Just love everyone.

      I agree "All one needs is the NT to live a fulfilled life" unless coming unto Christ.Gal 1:6-9.Jesus said in Jer 31:33; Heb 8:10;10:16 He'd "put laws into hearts & minds" & Apostle Paul rec'd the maj of this action via Holy Spirit!  NOW: Acts

    God did not make these religions, people did. They help to overcome difficulties. Because people were spread out living in remote areas, they had to come up with their own ways of dealing with adversities and solving problems. Whatever worked in their own language and culture they used.

    The word religion comes from the Latin word religio which means to bind up.  Religion are supposed to bring us back to the source, creator or God.  The religions are made by humans who have the same or similar view and ideals, faith and belief about what is the absolute truth.
    There are so many various factors that contribute to why there are so many different religions such as natural environment, language, cultural, personal psychology, physical appearance, needs, wants, and agendas.
    Throughout time things have changed and some view points have evolved with the times while others hold to a more orthodox tradition.

    Since each person is unique and special there is the potential for numerous different beliefs across the globe, due to each persons individual experience with "God".  The external symbols and practices will help us to identify others who we could connect with and build a religious community with, but that does not mean that it is the be all end all.

    7,2000,000,000 people in the world now a days and more religions are forming as time passes.

    Best wishes

    In answering your question he has not , he writes planely,
    Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
    Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
    Eph 4:4 One body there is, and one spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling;
    So according to the scriptures there is only one truth,
    What we have is the veriety of opinions and beliefs that are like many
    Copies but only coping a percentage of truth, which creates much confusion and leading many down the wrong path.

      That is just it ! why did King James change scriptures in the 1600's by deleting God’s personal name as the Author.
      He should have stuck to the Greek and Hebrew writings
      Which is original,  now a newer version of KJV drops his name completely.
