THE REASON THAT THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN A GOD WANT TO ARGUE, OR DEFEND THEIR POSITION AS NON-BELIEVERS, IS FOR A VERY SIMPLE REASON...GOD GAVE THEM EACH A BRAIN IN WHICH TO DOUBT EVEN THEIR OWN EXISTENCE. IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS, OUR CREATOR WILL RECEIVE THOSE WHO CHOOSE HIM AND HIS WAYS, AND THOSE WHO DO NOT, WILL RECEIVE THEIR OWN REWARDS. EACH HAS A PERFECT RIGHT TO BELIEVE AS THEY CHOOSE. THIS IS WHAT I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE.

They don't always do.  It is just the ones that do that are prominent.  It i like how the crazier and more aggressive members of any group will always be more visible.   There are just as many, if not more, religious people who will spend hours trying to convert non-believers into their religion.

I think something inside them tell them believers are correct but they don't want to admit it. Instead of that they are arguing.

The answer is actually in the question, one believes and one doesn't, perfect basis for an arguement!

I have no problem with people believing in fictitional entities - they can believe what they like. But when their belief results in them killing and repressing other people in the name of that belief - and there is no rational argument with them  - they "know" they are right because their "god" or whatever has told them so - that's when the problems start. It's that lack of rationality that non-believers fear, and I think that is why they feel they must try to keep believers on the right side of the rationality line by debating with them.

some say your crazy to believe in god but it is what satan does to the people he minipulates them into doing his plan and what the devil wants is to destroy anything and everything to do with god and his power and authority of will and speach.  when we are guilty of something and it is revealed to us through the eyes and voices of others we ushally dont react positively unles truth wisdom and god love has manifested it self with in us our family and friends and so on.

God Bless you all you are all my family in the word's of the father.

Well the devils believe in God according to James 2:19  "You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder" so simply believing in God does not mean much to people who wrote the bible.

Actually atheists are not conform about the existence of God. they always remain in dilemma whether God is there or not. . . ? They just want to confirm whether they are right or not. This is my opinion. Because I think we argue only when we have some confusion.

They do it out of guilt. They need to constantly reconfirm to themselves that they are right and they are scared they might be wrong.

No one should be pushing their belief on another. We all live to disagree with each other, that just the way we are raised. :-)

its all about religion, your faith comes from your religion so its not easy to convince those non believers...

Could you not ask the question in reverse? They argue with EACH OTHER. Its not so one sided. It all boils down to one person pushing his or her beliefs on the other when the other already reached a strong conclusion of opposite definition. When this happens it breeds resentment. With resentment comes the will to be right. With the will to be right no matter what the cycle continues with people on both sides on the defensive and the offensive of opinion. it was never about religion. It has to do with people's personalities and how they react to others with difference of opinion.
