Do u beleive that it was mere chance that life evolved on Earth?
Do u reckon that a complex chance and probability created humans that now can influence its originator like no other thing. Was it really nothing but that mere chance..!!!!!!!!!
I don't believe chance even exists, let alone that it played a key part in the creation of humans.
Not mere chance, no. God created physical reality a certain way that would lead inexorably toward life. The mechanics of atomic interaction (chemistry) are complex and there is a random element in them so no one specific atom can deterministically be counted upon to be at a certain location or situation at some future time. But a certain number of atoms can statistically be determined to arrive at more complex forms of molecules from such things as planetary bombardment in the early stages of star system formation. It's a beautiful thing to watch.
As for Homo sapiens, I suspect that the species has been around far longer than anthropologists would care to admit. And I suspect that, despite all of the evolution which has occurred on this planet (and perhaps trillions of other planets, as well), Homo sapiens may have been a special case for the specific purpose and need of freeing the spiritual beings within. Sleeping entities can hardly work out their escape without some help in the realm of steady-state consciousness. The waking consciousness of Homo sapiens remains the best "chalk board" for the sleeping immortals to plot that escape.
absolutely. it was either that or we are perhaps put here by what we would call aliens for an experiment.
The earth was just in the right place at the right time, we're the perfect distance away from the sun, we're at the right angle, and all that jazz. I don't believe that there is a god out there who created us, but I do believe that there are people like us, somewhere out there, orbiting around their own sun, who were also in the right place, and the right time. Shame we'll probably never get to meet them.
I do think it was 'mere chance', and I find it pretty damn amazing that so much can come from chance and opportunistic happenings, through the desire to live and thrive.
Life did not evolve on earth it was created. Life was created by God and not by chance at all. It was God's will to create earth and all of its inhabitants including mankind.
I certainly believe there is a chance that life evolved on Earth. In fact, as hard as it is for some to believe that human beings evolved into the complex creatures that they are, that is in fact what the fossil record tells us. More and more missing link fossils are being discovered each decade that link humans back to our ancient ancestor humanoid beings.
There seems to be a very strong force in all living things to survive and multiply. That requires continual adaptation to the environment and development of body resources to improve the chances of surviving and multiplying. We might just be the end result of this long struggle. A well developed species that can survive quite well and multiply quite well also. Perhaps we have grown intelligent enough to contemplate whether or not there was a creator of all this in ways that animals can not contemplate.
I absolutely do not believe that such complex organisms simply sprung up after the primordial soup was struck by lightning or radioactivity.
Science is capable of as much nonsense as religion, and the pressure to accept accidental life is no less irritating to be told that the Earth was made in seven of our days.
Seven of God's days? Fine. After all, one of God's days could have lasted for a trillion years.
And who or what is God? We are not supposed to know that yet. We have enough to deal with by trying to live bringing the next generation to self sufficient adulthood.
Ironically, both science and religion have proved more capable of killing humans than of finding the ultimate answer: how did we get here?
I strongly say mankind and the earth were not random happenings. Both were deliberate acts. They were both part of a master plan we will never fully understand. Just as a builder perceives a building and all that will be included in its creation, so was mankind part of a plan that was fully thought out long before we came into being. I choose to say The Trinity planned for us as a deliberate act. We were made for the enjoyment of the Trinity just as a building is made for a builders pride and joy.
No. All that is created or evolved is preordained. He created everythingtfor His pleasure. We might make many advances in science and technology but can never measure upto Him. There are so many things to which we do not have an answer and never will.

Do you believe we all have a purpose in our lives? Are we all here for a reason?I don't believe in fate or destiny. I don't think there is any reason for me to be on this earth other than simple biology. I'm OK with that. I like the idea that the coarse of my life is for me to decide. Both the...
