   Has anyone ever tried a Christian on-line dating website to find love? If so, is it worth it?

   I've tried several. Not necessarily to find love, but just to feel them out. However, there's a really good free one you could try called Christian Dating for Free.

   I am sorry that I cannot respond with experience -- I've been married 17 years and neither of us were Christians when we got married. Praise God we both are now. It is interesting, because I've always had a yucky feeling about Christian dating sites -- I suppose its because dating sites in general can be dangerous. I would think I would prefer Christian events, though those are somewhat lacking now days. I do not want to limit God and I know he can use dating sites as easily as any other method. :-)  I have two words of advice regardless of how you choose to date: 1) Ask God for guidance when deciding who to date. If something isn't feeling right, that's God's way of protecting you. 2) Be careful. I know you already know this. Okay, 3) haha. Remember that just because someone claims to be Christian, does not mean they are. No dating site checks for accuracy on this, of course.
   
   I do have to say I am a little put off by them. On facebook, I get ads sometimes when I use the word "Christian" that are ads for Christian dating -- they don't seem to pick up the words "I'm married." So, this tells me that they work like any other worldly internet business. I put Christian businesses to a higher standard.
   
   May I add one thing? If you are having "no luck" in finding Christian men to date, perhaps that's because God is preparing someone just right for you and preparing you to be just right for someone else. Let God work. :-)

   I met my wife many years ago when the first Christian online sight opened... it was called GCN... for a few weeks while they were trying out the software they offered a free trial membership in the singles area... we met... She was a professor at a University... I was aspiring to be a missionary and that was our common interest... We had a totally pure long distance relationship online for 6 months before ever meeting each other and were married in her Local Church by our Pastor there.... Parental Blessings and the whole works... and now many years later... We are still happily married with our own young-ins:-)
   
   So does it work?  That depends on the people involved and their walk with the Lord...

      Seemed like it worked very well for you! I'm glad that you met someone that was suitable for marriage. And I agree that it can olny work contingent upon someone's walk with the Lord. Thank you so much for sharing!
