Hi folks, nice to see you all clean shaven! .... especially the girls! smile
I have been off the forums while working on improving my new hubs. agvulpes, (Peter) and I have started an australian vacation hub, and I am hunting down all my travel photos. smile
My daughter is also contracting a new Joomla platform for her blog, so plenty of work there too!
I am taking a break right now. smile

Sorry to hear you home town team sucks. lol

I've been a Dallas Cowboy fan all my life and have no plans ever to root for my home town team- which is New England Patriots.

There isn't anything about Mass that I like.

        It's social services are under-funded.

        It's politicians are over-paid.

It's police in all cities are a joke.

It's racists society is borderline civil war attitude.

        This place is ridiculous.

real estate is very inexpensive in Michigan right now, if you are looking to move.
I think you can buy a whole city block in Detroit for like $12.00.

Now, why would you think I would give you the information I've collected on you?

It should have dawned on you that I wouldn't say anything, not because I don't know you, but because I wouldn't show my hand, until I need to.

Just like in poker- a bluff can only be called- when in fact you know you have the best hand.

I am holding all the right cards(knowledge)- I need to get my point across. And, that's all I am going to say on that.

But, you do have a nice day.

At the time it seemed the better choice, but in the meantime, I have spent all of my savings & I'm tapping into my IRA. I would rather have that money back, so I could afford to move away!!! lol

    1. Cagsil profile image70
Cagsilposted 14 years agoin reply to this

I can do no such thing.

I do not want to use you.

But, I do want you to understand that I don't pull punches and I'm not afraid of anything including death.

I recently finished my research about Life, which I can thank to religion, and now I am sharing what I've learned.

I'm not trying to push any form of real agenda, except to get people to accept full responsibility for their life.

If they don't know anything about life, now they will have a place to turn and get answers to questions that need to be answered.

I know that sounds a bit bold, but any question about life that needs to be answered can be answered. The questions that do not need ever be answered or questions which are irrelevant to life, have no explanation can now be seen for what they are.

      Junk!

I know....the study I under-took sounds weird. But, I had questions about life, which were not getting answered.

I was born and raise 'catholic', I was baptisized, made communion and even went on to make my confirmation.

I did all of it to please my mother and gain knowledge. I did believe in a 'god', but when I put 'religion' under a microscope, I found something I didn't like.

And, now I am out to CHANGE the way the world thinks, but SHOWING them each the real meaning to life.

How do I know I have the real meaning, because I personally did the research of history and was able to understand it's meaning.

I base everything on science, philosophy and reality. With that combination- there isn't a question about life, in which I cannot answer. If you have a question that needs to be answered, then so be it.

If your question is to not be answered or never needs to be answered, then I will tell you that too. Philosophy understanding allows for clarity on specific questions.

So, with that said- I'm pretty sure your curious. lol

    Life is really weird man.
I started just like you untill first communion.
    Right.
I went to school and university where I've done my studies.
Finally I end up being a sailor.
I read lots of books, from St. Thomas to Sir Bertrand Russel.
And I simply became "genuinely hylarious" as Lady Sorensen would say, about all that.
    Beliefs, people, politics, the world.
The only thing I firmly believe is that we could live in this world with much less suffering. That's all.
I tell you all this, because you went to the work of speaking frankly. And a man who speaks frankly always deserves response.
But you evolved to become serious about convictions, which is far away from my attitude.
I respect you as it is naturally due, but I don't like proselitism at all.
Yes, I've been reading you hubs.
That will not keep us from exchanging some good jokes.

lol  Just looked in on this and assume that was meant for me, yeah?  Well, thanks...didn't know I had become 'knighted' or whatever it is for women among the British aristocracy.

Hey, it's better than what some have been calling me here lately, wink.

    2. Cagsil profile image70
Cagsilposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Well, I guess I should explain a little more.

I once had a conversation with a Priest about the scriptures that were included in the bible. I asked him- "How do you know if the scriptures were properly translated/interpreted?"

His answer was "I have faith my boy". And, to be serious, I could see in his eyes that he was scared for my next question. And, he promptly told me to consult the scripture for guidance.

I found that odd. So, I dove in to religious history, used science to determine where mankind had evolve to(this was a must), learned about the history of mankind and of many different philosophical ideas.

This helped me to define life and come to an understanding that many never reached. It's a facsinating feeling of completely not believing in a "GOD" has done for my life.

With what I've learned, I made my own purpose in life and that's to spread the knowledge I've learned.

I don't claim to be a know-it-all, or a prophet or a 'god'. I am a human being who has gained a clarity on the true meaning of life.

The bottomline- the true meaning of life is for you to give meaning to your own life, become your own master, be your own god, live life for you, by using your consciousness of life and your conscience which guides your right and wrong morals.

Form honest thoughts and perform honest actions with those around you, and in your dealings. You are to value life. You are to protect life, yours and others.

Religion treats you like dirt, spits in your face, so you can be worthy to worship a 'god', that you were specifically told not to worship. It's the biggest scam on the planet.

You are NOT worthy of 'god's' love. Only in death are you worthy?

That doesn't sound like anything I would want to take part of. I'm glad I can see reality for what it is.
