The birth of my son, which is a miracle of life. That milestone changed my life for ever.
I have had two of the most inspiring things in my life. One, the birth of my daughter and how beautiful she was and still is. The second is the example set by such wonderful people as Temple Grandin, in overcoming the human condition of Autism, and making a success of her life. This has inspired me and motivated me to be a better teacher in working with the children who were challenged in their educations over the years. There are inspirations in our lives that help to make us all better human beings, and to pursue the cures and overcome the plaguing conditions that try to keep us from success.
Seeing many people come into my alcoholic fellowship for the first time and watching their life improve everyday that they stay sober. Keeps me sober!

birth and death of many animals
birth of each of my Grandchildren was a gift
Holding my Mother's hand to my face.........telling her, how much comfort there was in her touch............................as she took her last struggled and gasping breath.
My Mother, left this world, knowing that I was with her, and that her touch gave me strength. Yes, it might be my single greatest inspiring 'moment'.
I witness my sister get hit by a car while crossing the street. She made a full recovery with hardly any scars. Her will to get better was simply amazing.
