Christian friends, how do you spend your Sundays?

Do you have any special activities or rituals to mark your Sunday?

Until recently, we went to church, then home for lunch and my husband (who was the pastor) usually took a nap and my daughters and I would watch old movies.

Now my husband has severe intermittent vertigo due to an injury and I can't walk up the stairs into church so we don't go as often as we should.

I hope things get better for both of you, you'll be in my prayers.

Being a pastor myself I can relate. May I add my agreement to your faith for your husband's healing? Psalm 107:20; Matthew 18:19

I usually stay at home. I find it more convenient to remain at home than to go out to places. I have my bible and I can read one or two chapters on Sundays. I find reading the Bible a rewarding experience. The Bible contaiins everything a human being needs to meet his or her spiritual needs.

I donĀ“t watch TV at all, and besides reading the Bible, I usually look for titles to write about for HupPages.

Just curious - have you considered Hebrews 10:23-25?

I've been a pastor for the past 33 years so Sunday mornings find me at church. But going to church was a life-long habit long before it was my occupation. There's something uplifting about gathering together as God's people. I'm always glad I took the time to get out and fellowship.

Sounds like Sundays must be quite the busy day for you! Although as a Pastor I'm sure you really love your job on a level the rest of us don't always achieve.
