Did Jesus lose the vast majority of the human race to satan?
Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
I don't think anyone on planet earth is qualified to answer that question.
I am sure I am qualified to answer it, but I would like to hear from any hell believers if they have the courage to answer it.
Sword, what do you believe, if that's a polite thing for me to ask?
Sorry for neglecting your answer. I believe that all was given to Christ from the Father and He will give all back to our Father without losing one.
I think every thousand years (for the duration of one lifetime or a generation) for the past ten thousand years, one appears (born into physicality down here like all the rest of us) who IS qualified to answer that question; but each time within 300
It is not up to any of us on this side of Heaven to make that determination or judgment of what Jesus or God has done. We are not either of the two.
Jesus never had the "vast majority of the human race" to lose in the first place. First of all, there's the millions of humans who lived and died prior to the advent of Christianity. More significantly, Christianity always has been and still remains a minority religion. And need I mention all "others" who follow no religion at all?
Christianity is the largest religion in the world. Look it up. That is a fact.
That may be true, But I think that he means that if you combine every other follower of every other religion you will find more that have a belief of different gods or no god than believe in the Christian God
Deepes.. I'm sure the number of atheists is very large. But, I don't think there are any statistics for how many??
TY Lady G for the link. I will have a look.
No because Jesus did not go to other cotries except for India and what was known as Britainia at the time of his existence. There be more continents that didn't even know about him to say such a thing as that. I think people need to get a grip on their geography lots more.
I think the real question should be "Is god a loser?" His creation lacks wisdom from the source. No matter how they try to use philosophy to perpetuate the myth the deception keeps unraveling. Zeus and mt Olympus would have made more sense instead they got bitten by a bug in Giza. Sorry greeks.
If you take the Biblical view, we were all lost since Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. Jesus saved many, including many who had been in hell for quite a while.
Last I heard, Jesus hasn't quit yet! He is working to save us all. If he gets 99 out of 100, he will go back for the lost sheep.
From a Christian perspective, Jesus Christ has saved some, and is saving many, and will not quit until he has saved all.
And he could use some help! Let us accept salvation, and then love our brothers and sisters - indeed our enemies - as ourselves.
Those who do this - whether they never heard of Jesus, or follow him, or repudiate his name (which has been so misused) - those who accept God's love and love their brothers and sisters as themselves, are saved, and help bring about the salvation of all.
At least, that's the way I look at it. There are many ways of interpreting the Bible. Mine is not the most popular. But it is, perhaps, the most loving.
satan they say is the sworn enemy of all man. Including jesus. yes the war with satan may be lost so far but I have no doubt that god shall champion over satan in the end.
Very good question. When you look around and see everything dying on this planet and who is in control...yup....Jesus lost the recent round to the the darkness
and satan same as 2000 years ago....BUT only because satan and his ilk disguised the truth...who wrote the religions?........ the victorious!..the takers the wealthy.
The only thing the demons who have control of this sinking ship fear is as always, the real truth emerging.........your choice to believe this
will determine whether satan retains the lead or not.....check us out..it's free!
Here is a sample:
Jesus is the most studied man in history, yet his true name is a mystery for most people. In the past, this was due to the deliberate destruction of documents by the Roman and Islamic Empires to hide the truth. Today, the Vatican still hides its documents about Jesus’ true history, his marriage to Mary Magdalene, Jesus’ ancient wisdom and his secret teachings.

Did Jesus teach anything new?We are constantly being told that Jesus and that Christianity are the only ones who have the answers to life. I think they are pulling the wool over everyone's eyes by doing that. There are others who have said and taught the same lessons as Christianity's...

I can understand the positives of putting your faith in such and such religion, which is why I do not think religion as a whole should be completely eradicated, however in this day and age I honestly wouldn't mind if it was.My question is this: why does religion NEED to exist? If you say "So...

Very rarely do I see a forum thread on Islam. I have not seen an atheist who has started a thread on Islam insulting Mohammed or Allah or just speaking out against them. Christianity and Jesus seem to be the target. I know it is because the US, for example, is considered a...

Why did Jesus have to die for our sins? I can't comprehend this concept; it doesn't make sense.
