What will be the first thing you will do if God tells you that you will succeed in whatever you do?
Think of God appearing before you and giving you such a boon.
I would fully let go of ego and return to my full spiritual self.
That is the most important quest.
I'd feed the hungry and teach them how to make, grow, and preserve their own food so that they won't be starving again.
I love this question because my first thought would be to make it a paradox - set out to prove that God doesn't exist.
However, I don't believe that there isn't some sort of higher beings, whether it be God, Gods or just beings that exist on a different plane of existence.
But I would say Cure Hunger/solve over population problem/bring peace all in one fowl swoop by showing that a natural path will guide us where we need to be - would be top of my agenda.
I think God has already granted us that... Ask and you will Receive.... The reason we don't succeed is that we do not believe.....
Whatever you ask of your Father in prayer, believe you have it and it will come to you...
My thoughts!!
I would probably tell the first person I could. Then I would probably go out and tell everybody about how awesome God is. So if I was going to be successful in everything I did; then I think I would be successful in spreading the news of how awesome and merciful God is. Then I would focus on finding cures for some of the most life-threatening diseases. I would travel around the world to help the poor and hungry. I would find a solution to some of our country's most important issues like to fix our economy. I think there would be a host of things I would do I dont think I could narrow it down to just one thing.
I would live my life the same as always, because I think that no matter what you want to achieve, even if it seems impossible, you can achieve it with the right dedication, sacrifice, and mindset.
I will let go of my own understanding, and apply and follow the spiritual teachings of my spiritual being.
Aside from fall over in shock...cause that would mean I'd met the Big Dude.
What would I do if I would succeed?
End bigotry and hatred.
I would end the placing of ones race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or what not over another's and assuming that one is better. I would make sure that humanity realised again that we are all equals.
Then, you know...after world peace had been achieved, then I'd cure cancer and all that. No point curing cancer when hatred kills more people than that.

about ourselves than about Him, attributed to Thomas Merton.A rather thought provoking quotation. What does it tell us about the person who:Knows and understands the evil their god did or does, but writes it off to "God's ways are inscrutable" or "God can do whatever He wants...

When I was a child I often wondered where the sun and moon went and why the birds could fly and I couldn't. As an adult I often wonder where the dead go when they (that which is beyond the heavens) die and why do they have to die? Is there something more to the Bible than the words that...

Where in the Bible does it say that the Jews are God's "chosen people"?Isaiah 19:25 says Egypt is God's people and Israel is His inheritance? Where in the Bible does it say that the Jews are God's "chosen people"?

I think you know you've had a soulmate experience when after all is done, you know what to do in life. You get it. You got it all figured out. It doesn't matter if you ended up together. Soulmate relationships have to be positively transformative. If you're just obsessed, that's not it. That's...
