Do you believe that you have a spirit that can better understand God's existence and presence?
We usually judge and try to understand things with our mind, the human mind or human intelligence which dies with the flesh. How about the spirit that we cannot see with our eyes?
Well like it says in the bible "dont lean on your own understanding" God does not think like us nor have thoughts like us. Although he understands/knows all our thoughts and understands how we think because he created us, his thinking goes well beyond what we could ever imagine.
If we talk to God he will show us what is too be revealed. He will give us answers that we still may not understand but he gets us very soon to our destination.
We all have intuition and that intuition guides us through our path, but this understanding comes from the spirit. It is said to always go with the first instinct as that is the one that is correct.
We all feel certain things we cant explain and more of us are open to it in today's world. Although some think its crazy or nonsense, that is the spirit we cannot see.
The unknown we cant question or answer.
Amen Rayne123. Many times I can feel my spirit able to feel God's presence, so with my late Mom's and Dad's presence. Nonsense for some, but it's my spirit that tells me so, by faith, and I feel happy being able to connect. Goose bumps ha ha.
Beautiful question, Edwinoel.
From my experience, I don't have a spirit -- I am spirit, and have a body.
Every time ego left me, spirit (my true self) woke up. Miracles happened. I felt the loving arms of God wrap around me.
I have come to understand that the purpose of God creating Homo sapiens is so that we have a temporary "blackboard" on which to write our thoughts -- a temporary continuity of consciousness.
Christ said that we need to give up being first (ego) and be last (humble). When we do this perfectly, completely and continuously, then we are free of the burden of physical reality. We can see once again without need of physical eyes, and think once again without the need for a physical brain. We become, once again, children of God, created in His image and likeness -- and He is not Homo sapiens.
Christ said that our gift is everlasting life. What does this mean? Since continuity of consciousness is a measure of existence or life, then when we die, if we have no more continuity of consciousness, then we have ended that life as a physical being; but if we keep continuity of consciousness past physical death, then we have died as a spiritual being, and have been born again of the spirit.
Too often have I spent time in the bardo (between lives) in a chaotic confusion, not understanding who I was or where I was. I hunger for the calm peacefulness of God's love. That means, I need to be love. I need to be 100% responsible for the actions of others, for only then can I be at-one with God and effortlessly turn the other cheek.

As some Hubbers have suggested empiricism aka scientific exploration is the only destiny that humans must aim for? Empiricism is tethered solely to materialism and physicalism. But humans as a specie have unique qualities and qualifications that no other...

Specifically, the existence of Yahweh as he is typically conceived: the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, omnibenevolent Creator of the universe?Note: When I say "empirically," I am asking whether you believe that his existence can be proved _without_ resorting to faith.

Why do most people, whilst they acknowledge God's existence fail to live for him?The devil has done everything he can to make people think that he doesn’t exist and yet most people live for him. Most people, though they believe in God don’t live for him. Why is that?

A youtube user by the name of Theoretical Bullshit made a video called "Random...Necessarily", which states that God's existence and qualities must be random, and exist for no reason with no cause. The logic behind it is that God is said to exist prior to anything else, as it was God that...
