Open brand new doors for me. I would go on but apparently when I read my work over again it seems I am writing a book, so I will keep it short.
Just last week I had 3 pulmonary emboli travel to my lungs. Thank God they were small or I would not be writing this. I was in the hospital for a few days, other than that no problems. Our God is so good my friend!
AMEN! You are so right. So glad you are better and out of the hospital.
Glad you're okay, JT. Blessings and praise God!
Last week I had a bunch of stuff that I needed to get fixed on my car. Through my own mechanic-cheaper than the others-the total was going to be $1400. God provided me with the money. I could not do this on my own because-even though I have a job-I have monthly bills to make.
I ask a question, whatever, i pray and i open the bible.
Always i find the correct answer!
I have been amazed so many times in my life, I've lost count. Not all of them were God acting directly, but everything in this universe He created, including us, and that's amazing enough.
My life has been filled with miracles. I'm also a scientist, so I understand the critical differences between "ordinary," accidental miracles and "extraordinary," cause-and-effect miracles.
For the last few years, God has touched me with lessons I've needed. I have sorely needed humility and He has given me so many opportunities -- blessings.
Perhaps some would be amazed by the Miracle on Wilshire Boulevard I experienced in 1977. Very much like that of Moses parting the sea.
But for me, what amazes me more are the subtle, quiet ways God is leading me back to Him -- the lessons that prompt and bump me and tell me, "This way, this way,... over here." I am so hungry for His loving embrace.
God has given me clues to the meaning of His work. I have found a timeline in Genesis compatible with those of science. No longer do the religious need to hold themselves apart from scientists. We can return to love, once again. I've even discovered the culprit behind God's need for Noah's Flood, and understand how the Flood was only an act of God's love -- nothing else. But even with such profound understanding, the most amazing things from God have been the quiet lessons that help to shape my path and that give me the strength to take the narrow way of humility, love, responsibility and faith.

What is the last thing you think of before falling asleep? As a firefighter/paramedic, I am away from home for 24 to 48 hours at a time. On the nights I am away, the last thing I think about is my wife and two little girls, praying that God keep them safe while I'm away. What do...
