I have so many favorite Christmas hymns. So many of these hymns bring me to tears because they are so beautiful not only in their music, but in their words and message.

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, What Child is This, and O Holy Night , Do You Hear What I Hear, and Angels We Have Heard on High have always been my favorites.

Just tonight I heard of another song, although not a hymn, it is a beautiful Christian Christmas song - Cloverton's Christmas rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. It's absolutely moving.

Christmas hymns are so powerful to me. They touch me even deeper, if that's even possible, when accompanied by pianos, strings, etc., by musicians who were truly given talents by God.

There are a few that leap to mind, but I'm very fond of "One Day At A Time" which, if memory serves me, was recorded by Andrae Crouch and also by Bill Gaither.
"How Great Thou Art" and "Eternal Father, Strong To Save" always move me.
