Silent Night is a great choice! Whether in German or English it is one of my favorites. Albert introduced it into England together with what we now know as the traditional Christmas tree with the lights and the presents underneath. Merry Christmas!

I used to absolutely be irked by this one, but now it may be my favorite:  Have yourself a merry little Christmas.  (I still wish they didn't have the word, "little", in there.  That still irks me, but the rest of the song/melody is nice.)

Also, "Do you hear what I hear" and "Little Drummer Boy" are good ones.

I love "Joy to the World", "Silent Night," and so many others,  but the words to "Good King Wenceslas" seem to embody the true meaning of Christmas:
    "Therefore, Christian men, be sure
    Wealth or rank possessing
Ye who now will bless the poor
    Shall yourselves find blessing"
