What is the use of religion??
Can we so called human being cant live without religion? Whats the importance of religion in your life?
None, since it's a closed ended question. You don't believe that any religions are true.
I'm sorry, I didn't see the second part to your question. My apologies. While many people claim to not believe in or take part in any religions all people take part in and believe in at least one if not many religions. These religions aren't typicall
The true purpose of religion is that of transmitting sacred teachings for spiritual reawakening and for fellowship and sharing in the mutual progress toward that reawakening.
Everything else added to religion is a dilution or a distraction, usually by ego. And Ego is the key barrier to spiritual reawakening.
I don't often go to church, because I don't feel a spiritual enough message in any of the sermons. God is love, but many of the messages are not those of Love. Many are recitations of scripture without understanding its truer, more spiritual meaning.
Many secularists feel that religion is the source of evil in the world. I find this almost comical, because so much evil in the world has nothing to do with religion. The true source of evil is that of Ego (selfishness and separateness). This is what religion is meant to resolve.
As Christ said, the "first" (egotistical) shall be last; and the "last" (humble) shall be first.
The very thing that destroyed religion so many times is the very thing that religion was meant to destroy. We're almost there.

You guys - I posted this in the Questions section, but because it turned into a full-blown discussion, HubPagers advised me to move it to Forums. Here it is:"Cult" is defined as a system of beliefs that doesn't work, but people cling to it because they fear "eternal hell"...
