Other than being the Messiah, Who is Jesus to you? Give me the biblical basis of your answer.
Most religions believe that Jesus is the Messiah, but other than being the Messiah there are lots of teaching about Him, some say He is an Archangel, some say He is God , some say He is man, some say God-Man, and others.
Jesus is a Savior
John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Jesus is our brother.
He is without ego, the source of all evil. For ego is the antithesis of love. And God is love.
Jesus talked about ego. He said that the first (egoists) shall be last, and the last (humble) shall be first.
Genesis 1:26 tells us that God created us in His image and likeness, but what many seem to forget is that God is not Homo sapiens. In other words, we are spirit (immortal and sources of creation). That's why Jesus said that we can do the things he did and even greater, because we are his brother.
Jesus is not God. He made this abundantly clear on numerous occasions. He said that he is the right hand of God -- not God. He said that he and the Father are one, but this is not equivalence in identity, but equivalence in form -- because both were love.

...when Jesus clearly said 'My Father is Greater than I' in John 14:28?Nothing can be greater than God, so by Jesus' own words, we can deduce that Jesus did not profess to be God, because he professes that there is a power Greater than him (Jesus). Why then do many Christians firmly believe that...
