My wife told me that we should pray for those who used by the devil to accomplished his works but more prayer to those who welcomed the devil into their hearts.
Would you not say war is the work of the Devil? I would.
Evil and Good exist. The Biblical battle between Michael the Archangel and Lucifer, the Dark Angel is an example. The Bible is full of symbolisms. God is a supreme being who made all things..including evil and human free will to choose.
It depends. There's a lot of ifs in this question. If the abortion is done to save the life of the mother? Will the baby be brain dead for its' entire life? If the mom is addicted to twelve kinds of drugs? Are the parents financially stable to give the baby a fair chance in life? It's never black and white.
First of all, if it isn't your body, how do you have an opinion? That's like women telling men they can't ingest Viagra because male erectile dysfunction is neither a medical need nor an emergency.
There was a time when Americans knew to keep their religions private. Today, every red hot fundamentalist is out there preaching their gospels of shoulda, coulda, woulda.
My take on this question is that the rule to "mind your own business" where medical issues are concerned is no one's choice but the body with the medical issues.
Why are men so concerned about abortion? Why do they use religion to justify all manner of evil, terror and bias toward women? Simple. Men simply believe they are superior.
This supremacy thing began with the book Genesis. I found it amusing that the Supreme Being is God the Father (a masculine image), God the Son (another masculine image) and God the Holy Ghost (no gender image of notoriety...yet)
In Genesis, poor Adam is so bewitched by the temptress Eve to partake of an apple because a slimy snake coerced her into sharing it? Really? So can we assume Adam had no brain? Was too weak to be a man and say "NO!" loud and clear? Next, we move onto that harridan Hagar. She, not Abraham committed the adultery and bore Abraham's son Ishmael? Further on, we get another Biblical slam at women with Delilah further proving women should never be allowed to make their own decisions.
Sorry, I don't buy that. Men have always found excuses for their inability to control themselves no matter what the issue. Their chief stock and trade is throwing women under a bus to save their own souls.
Men today are particularly annoying. They spend their youths sowing their wild oats and by middle age decide it's time to "get religion." Another thing I don't buy.
In the words of the famed philosopher, Nietzsche, "Those who must strenuously preach morality, do so to hide their own immorality."
It's time for men to pay attention to vile cruelty and violence of their own gender. It's okay for them to murder the already living and abandon the babies they spawn. Just let any women squander his "seed" and watch him go ballistic.
You should take a look into Taoism. The "Tao", the ultimate entity that governs the Earth, takes no sexual form, and in all texts he and she are interchangeable. Lao Tzu believed, however, that the Tao is like a "Great Mother".
This is not about abortion, it's about babies killed by gvts. A fetus is nothing like a child. I'm talking do we deserve the label Great Satan, and white devil?
The poster is quite ambiguous. Obviously if the child is alive then they deserve every protection designated by our natural rights.
First of all, either this is a quality of life issue or a right to life issue. It can't be both. The only government at present with mandated compulsory abortion for female fetuses is China. If we are the Great Satan, what than are Europeans?
We're all Satan. Or we allow it to operate thru us. Or we would have stopped a lot of things a long time ago. Now the planned mass annihilation of "those other people" is taking place. And no one does anything about it. tralalala, freedom, democracy
Pictures like that disturbs us all who look and think upon it's image, so to say people are sick to think or do such a thing leaves opinions and options of what we think off
I think it is a powerful poster. I think abortion is wrong. Who are we to determine who can or cannot live? What if your mother had an abortion?
Are you aware that some women have what's medically termed a "missed abortion" ...otherwise known generically as a miscarriage? Would you hold a woman responsible for that too? You get to decide on abortion when YOU are the one who's pregnant.
No, they are not responsible for a miscarriage--that is God's decision.
I see. So, it's God who decides to kill the fetus in the womb? Oh puhlease...Your human body functions according to physiologically evolved processes. Would you please explain how God forces a woman to miscarry? Wow..Ignorance is rampant.
It's actually not about abortion...as you can see, this child is already born. It's about babies killed in war. And--if we do the killing of babies, are we acting on behalf of the devil? Or evil, I would say. It is going on NOW-with our tax dollars.
No.
I always say actions by themselves have no power; that what matters in action is a live vibrant awareness of the power of God. I also say that the spiritual life is all about motive: Purity of intent; sincerity of purpose. It is the language of the inner person and not the outer camouflage.
Think of Spirit as all-knowing (Omniscient), and so The Father - which is inside the heart - knows your condition infinitely more than you do. He replenishes your needs and answers your prayers accordingly. He even number the hairs on your head! See the approach of Christ to the republican and the prostitute?
Sometimes, it's the lowly that attracts God. I saw a girl yesterday. She looked so simple and I have to say behaved a little odd. She started talking to me at the restaurant for a short while and then sat with her friends outside. I observed her vibrant and exuberant manner and thought her a bit funny. Some others were even looking at her.
As I was leaving the restaurant she called me, told me my shoe laces were undone, and came up to me and tied them herself. I stood there in silence and paid homage to her Soul.
It is the heart; the heart ... I have written loads about this. It is the heart that matters before God. Much peace.
"I have reluctantly reached the conclusion that there is such a thing as Satanism in this world. When you look at Satanism...what is going on fits all the criteria...greed, commercialism, materialism, pornography, sexual deviance, human trafficking, warmongering, murder...it's all part and parcel of the force we are up against. I am a former social worker and we learned in social work school that in order to solve a situation you first have to "name" it. I would like to see some really prominent people come out and call the evil ones on being Satanists. One encouraging development is that in Britain they have finally faced up to the rampant pedophilia in the government. Maybe they will take it a step further and call them Satanists.
I am not a religious person and see a lot of Satanic symbols in religion. I don't think a return to formalized religion is the answer. We need to come together as humans and identify, out and confront the evil doers. One thing about the Satanists...they love the shadows and hate the light (for obvious reasons). We need to drag them out of the shadows and into the light."

The national debate around abortion centers around two peaks of moral high ground. There is the woman's right to have ultimate control over her own body versus the right to life of a fetus. I will admit upfront to being a pro-choice advocate. I am not saying I approve abortion...

During the 3rd debate, Chris Wallace misleadingly asked a question about partial birth abortion. The reason the question was misleading was that partial birth abortions don't exist. However, Donald Trump answered the question anyway, explaining that fetuses could be ripped out of the womb the day...

I am a spiritual person -- this does not define my beliefs or my religion. What it does mean is that I am true to myself and my beliefs. I was raised a Christian and still have the basic beliefs, that God and Jesus do exist. I pray to God and I talk with Jesus for guidance and healing -- I also...

Why do the most prevalent religions require a Supreme Being that is thought of as maleIf there is an all-powerful being, who is limitless and superhuman, why is this being, in the "big" religions, considered to be male? Wouldn't that conception in itself attach certain human...

Just curious about how others see God, (or NOT see God).Personally, I believe there is some kind of supreme being, but that god does not particularly care how anyone or all of humanity sees this deity. And does not have any set rules about how to live life, or existence....

What is a good religion for an atheist to start with?
