How are you referring to Trad?
I generally see it within the Pagan communities where Trad refers to the denomination of Wicca or another Pagan belief someone may follow.
Perhaps it means tradition? As in religious/spiritual tradition(s)? That's my best guess and hope it helps.
That is it exactly, it is an abbreviation of tradition.
My own Pagan tradition these days is a first generation family tradition. You will also find people who follow a Northern tradition, a Celtic tradition, an Hellenic tradition, and others.
