ghosts are things that obviously us human beings cannot see. (some can of course) but i believe ghosts are peoples "souls" that havent crossed over for some reason.

A ghost (also referred to as a specter) is a spirit that exists beyond a person’s physical body and after they have died. A poltergeist is a type of ghost that causes physical disturbances (objects being thrown around, loud noises, etc.)
Stranger odors, breezes, lights, objects moving are all doings of ghosts.
Haunted places, are places ghosts dwell that carry some important emotion or significance in the ghost’s past (like a childhood home or where they died)

A Ghost is an apparition of a dead person that is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image:

God made man like Himself, by forming a vessel and breathing in him the breathe of life. Everything we do is written on the spirit, and when the vessel dies, the breathe remains, and will reincarnate into another vessel, over and over till the final death
