Is it because you feel disconcerted that you make assumptions about those who differ from you?
There are numerous questions on this page today assuming thins about atheists, or those who no longer believe in the Christian God, or 'living by Christian principles' - as with many assumptions, the questions seem to be trying to bait but I'll ignore that. I'm wondering if it's because as atheists, we make things disconcerting for those of faith because we are examples that a life without God is just as happy (if not happier) as one with. Enlighten me
As a "Atheist-Christian" my finding is the reason most man make assumptions about those who differ from them is because in every category of existence most man call half good and the other evil -- or one of the other "Judgmental adjectives" like right/wrong, pretty/ugly stink/sweet smelling and the like -- therefore the way they make allowances for differences they disagree with is a judgmental adjective.
