Was God born? See details.
"No one has seen God at any time; *** the only begotten god *** who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him." - John 1:18
Misquote: "No man hath seen God at any time, *** the only begotten Son ***, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him."
Some claim Jesus to be God, but he never said that.
God was never born. There was no starting point for God. God exists outside time and space, superior to it -- superior to all dimensions.
Actually it reads, "μονογενὴς Θεὸς", that is to say, "only-begotten god".
man is limited by his understanding of this world we live in. he is limited by his understanding of space and time. we are bound by space and time, contained with in it and all our understanding is shaped by it. all things have a beginning and an ending. whether we believe in GOD or evolution, everyone agrees that our world, indeed, all known space...had a beginning...and will at some point, have an ending. try to think outside the box our limits have placed upon us. a place where time and space does not exist. what we see as past, present, and future...are all one and the same in a place where time does not exist. beginnings and endings have no meaning. in a place where time has no meaning...one simply is. they exist. one of the names GOD applied to HIMSELF was...I AM....as far as we humans, with our very small and limited brains are concerned...no, GOD was never born, and HE will never die. HE will always BE.
Thank you for your answer! If I may follow-up, who, then, is the only-begotten god John referred to @ John 1:18?
CHRIST was born in the flesh for mankinds sake, in order to reconcile man back to GOD. because HE was born of flesh, HE was bound by the same laws of time as we were, until HE fulfilled HIS task and returned to GOD the Father.
Very true! It never ceases to amaze me, though, how so many strangely believe that Christ is the Father, God.

Garza-Valdes, together with Victor and Nancy Tryon, has carried out a PCR DNA test on blood samples taken from the Shroud ([18], pp. 115-119). He conducted a standard sex determination test. He looked for, and found, fragments of the amelogenin-X gene, which is found only on the X-chromosome, and...

This is not a repetition nor scam.My previous argument on the topic could not be augmented in time and so I am putting it up as a separate topic. Mr. Dave Mathews has misunderstood that I was hiding behind some esoteric argument. So here goes the...

The actual meaning of father as referred to by Jesus(PBUH) in the Bible, is God. This is a figure of speech in Hebrew. Most Christians claim that Jesus was the son of God that he claimed divinity .As we read the bible we see that all men who were god-fearing and holy where called ...

What the Hell does this mean?"I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God;...

If God exists and he in fact does interfere with our lives why does he let bad things happen to good people? Why does he let people suffer who don't deserve to? Is this one big ass game to him or is there something that we can not understand in the works here? Maybe he doesn't interfere at all, or...

Did Jehovah say that He sent His only begotten Son? Did Jesus die and was resurrected by his God...and Father? Can Jehovah, who is ETERNAL, die? Surely God cannot lie. Those who say things contrary to what God says, like Jesus was God, surely, they lie. 1 Peter 1:3 (King James Version) 3Blessed be...
