I believe in the spirit world. There are many things out there that we know nothing about. The spirit world is just one of them.
So I take it you are a woman of faith? Regardless to which one it is, as you stated the "spirit world" meaning it too must be a place or constant. That is the way I believe also. I feel that within that spirit world, there are many realms and opposing forces that mankind has no clue about. And for the fortunate, or unfortunate few that have had encounters with that realm- who are we as a society to shun them? You know...
I am a firm believer that from the time of death to the time of spiritual departure, a soul can easily crossover into our world.
I believe there are things I don't understand and I pray for protection.
its hard to believe that there is nothing. I too pray for protection. Just a feeling that I get from time to time.
I have seen alcohol and drugs possess a person and lead them straight to destruction. In my eyes these are materiel demons and they will destroy your life. So in that sense I do believe people have personal demons.
I am affirm believer that there are unexplainable events, caused by demons or ghosts. I pray for protection as well.
What's up with the insult?
It might be better to ask me what my viewpoint is and why I feel this way, before the insult. As someone noted earlier in another thread, the only thing that separates adults from children is respect and honor. I see you have neither, so maybe it is not I who should grow up.
I'm nothing but a complete moron, who would want to read anything a moron had to say?
I beleive their are spirit form demons because the bible speaks about them. I'm not sure about ghosts and if they are the same. I know some people who are convinced they seen and heard ghosts. I haven't and I like it that way.
It is hard to envision a world without demons. It goes hand in hand with the Christian faith. It goes hand in hand with most religions. There are always opposing sides and hence, opposing man-like forces. The two religions or lifestyles that I think comes the closest to the truth, is Hindu and Buddhism.
I know ghost are real. I have a few ghost stories. But I'm tooooo tired to post them.
I too have had several unexplainable encounters with energy forces, that were beyond my realm of life or knowledge. Eerie really.

Can dogs see ghost or spirits? It was late at night (almost 11p.m.) and I'm still watching a tv show and all of the sudden the dog of our neighbor kept on barking and growling looking at their gate. I tried to look outside but I saw nothing nor heard that someone was there. The barking and growling...

Certainly all ghosts are not demons. Some help even to God. My atheist family told me that there is no ghost. But after accepting Christ 53 years ago I ministered among refugees and Muslims. I found many instances of good ghosts. A dead mother came back to his bachelor son to help him cook. A...

Do you believe in Ghosts, Spirits, Demons, etc. ?And if so, is it because your religion attributes these to actually being real? The only reason I can see someone of non belief wholly believing in ghosts and such is due to actually experiencing them rather than taking the word of someone else that...

In my family, about two out of three of the women have the ability (or disability, depending on how you look at it) to sense when someone is going to die, and also to attract and get message from already deceased persons. Since we live in a culture that labels that as a form of insanity, it can be...
