Sure, but only because I've met a couple.

The real reason for the strife between ghosts and the real world is a strong lack of communication ability.

Think about it, ghosts are not solid material, but all of our manners of communication require solid mass.

We speak by undulating air from our lungs and restrict and shape it with our vocal tract. These and other vibrations are collected by our ears and then transferred as electric signals to our brains for interpretation.

Ghosts, thus, are completely disengaged from either process, being unable to create or perceive vibrations. So we hear maybe nothing more than "woooooooooh" from them like the passing wind, and who knows what they hear from us.

Yes, I kinda’ like the shadows of reason. I also like fairies, gnomes, elves and even gods of myths. Too, I’m fascinated by Angelology. Religion I fare to be more rules than the distinct qualities of theology and philosophy. So, enters all the debates from here to there of this and that regarding God and life.

Thus, we know life, today as now, is defined as biological - science. How can a ghost or those others be life? Stepping back from some wandering with pondering . . . I debate about belief many times to begin with contrast knowledge, which I find Intriguing. Seems there is a historical context. Belief IMO is firstly centric of 'self'. That is an acceptance as so being rational as a personal perspective while the empirical is not necessarily a requirement.

Allow me to interject I accept much of what science says as being truths regarding knowledge. However, I pretty much feel science seeks to define a before at times limited with then while pursues next while elusive seems to be when. Those IMO have never been answered. I dun’no . . . However, brings with it great usefulness for 'now'. But, skepticism with naught asks what of beyond?

Next, enters with perspectives is dimensions most of certainty know of four – height, depth, width, and time. Introduced with string theory are six more. Alas, there is more questioning with different universes of many. Baffling for me of least thinking since said is they interact, what does that mean really? Could there be possibility a ghost or those others does in fact exist as life with form and format, does interact between dimensions, while only a shadow is perceived – the senses.

Those pretty much accepted is six; taste, sound, touch, sight, hearing, and the sixth – intuitive. The latter of great mystery laced with mysticism while is present within science – psychology. Again, discovered are shadows?

BTW does one know a shadow today is said to move more quickly than dark and light? It is explainable. It leads toward the speed of ignorance or ignorance grows faster than knowledge.

With my answer . . . why I lean toward belief is somewhat rational, then speculation with personal experiential knowledge, yet to be explained for me of least? Sharing is I have a willingness to believe. I offer casting religious aside and argument of God a peek at William James’ treatise ‘The Will to Believe’.
