Is it possible we are in the middle of the 7 year Tribulation period spoken of in the Bible?

What really happened on September 23rd, 2012? Was that date the beginning of the tribulation period? Try Googlin' that date, check out the images and even look at videos from that date. You will be SHOCKED!

We don't know for sure when the rapture will take place.  It could happen at the END of the Tribulation.  You're stuck with us until then.

No, it has not happened yet.  It will only begin when a peace treaty is made with Israel.  When that happens, you have seven years left until Armageddon.

None of us know the exact time our Lord will return but he does give us signs and right now the Arab / Muslim issue is one if them. Iraq is a great part of the return as is Turkey. The antichrist will come out if that region. We are not in the 7 year period as the antichrist has not manifested himself yet. We are I think in the pre-trib area. We need to all be watchful. Read my hub on the rapture.

I'll buy that, but then I have bought a lot of things I later regretted buying...for now it sounds like a bargain.

No one knows the date or the time of the tribulation period or the second coming of Christ but by paying attention to scripture we can know when it is not happening.

The seven year Tribulation period, follows the Rapture of all the Christians to heaven (I haven't seen any evidence of that, have you?)

The Bible warns that the wrath of God will be poured out on unrepentant sinners. These judgments describe in Revelation include worldwide war (conventional as well as nuclear), famine, plague, wild animals attacking humans, meteor impacts, massive global earthquakes, and more. The start of these terrible judgments commence at the beginning of the seven year Tribulation period which is marked by the signing of a seven year peace treaty between the Antichrist and Israel. There will be a progression of these judgments along with their severity as prophesied by John (Revelation 6-18).

This Tribulation period is divided into two halves, each three and one half years in length. The second half of the seven-year Tribulation period will be even worse than the first half. It is a time period known as the Great Tribulation. This last three and a half years will begin with the Antichrist’s violation of the treaty he signed with Israel. He will break the covenant by stopping the sacrifice and defiling the Holy of Holies in the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. This is the prophesied “abomination of desolation” (Daniel 9:26-27; Matthew 24:15) and it will signal the beginning of the last three and a half years of the seven-year Tribulation period. It will end at the battle of Armageddon with Jesus’ victory.

A few prophecies still need to be fulfilled before the tribulation

Israel must be at peace and living securely in the land.

Israel must build a third temple and animal sacrifices must be reestablished.

Russia must become a military superpower again.

The city of Babylon must be rebuilt.

The Roman Empire must be reborn.

A great power must arise in the East that will be able to field a huge 200,000,000 man army.

I Believe Noah's ark will be found.

The rapture of the Church most likely will be one of the final prophetic signs to the world.

Until you see these prophesies fulfilled or proven to be erroneously interpreted, read all the tripe and all the hype you want to entertain yourself with because that is all it is, entertainment for fantasizers and far from the truth.
