What does it mean when I keep having dreams of houses?

Every night there is a house in my dream.  Sometimes it is brand new, other times it is old.  Sometimes it is big, other times small.  Thoughts?

Houses and buildings in dreams can mean one's self and how we feel.
Alternatively a mix of houses like yours may only be a reflection of your neighbourhood. Do you live right in a city?

I dun'no . . . curious . . . do you see a house or are in a house and experiencing the rooms? There are two things I would notice. One it is the same symbol. Obviously it repeats. A question I would ask does the setting change or is the symbol itself in the same field of color or absence of color.

You did not mention anything about the color of the house too. Different or the same always. Is it favorite colors? Maybe the setting has as much importance for the changes of the house seen from a distance. If outside perhaps you are looking at the big picture. If inside the details. Maybe bigger means closer to what the symbol means and smaller farther away from it.

I agree with Ozinato the house represent your 'self'. But, which 'self' would the house represent? That brings up if it has meaning with physical interactions - senses, psychological, and if accepted some reliance upon the soul. After all psychology means the study of the soul.

With the physical self, then the senses to notice are touch, taste, felt, and heard. Maybe a bigger house means you are more comfortable in bed and smaller less like colder. Time to pull up the covers giggle + giggle . . . then again, a larger house the neighbors are going to work earlier disturbing sleep or more traffic heard on the street. I dun'no . . .

Psychologically maybe a bigger house means the day ahead has a bigger challenge and smaller more routine day. Here to me is where those colors and setting may make a difference with the house as a symbol if the house represents 'self'. If the house is a color you don't like maybe you don't like the day ahead. If big and color you don't like then a big problem ahead.

Then there is the soul. hmmmmm . . .

Lolita....Houses~~think "Structures."  The visions of houses of various types that appear in your dreams could very well indicate your need (or wish) for more "structure" in your life.
This is not to say you feel your life has gotten disorganized nor out of your control.  But instead, your subconscious must feel it is time you took inventory of segments of your daily life where some alteration or improvement is necessary.
This could be related to your schedule in terms of some stress you have in that area.  Perhaps you can take a look at this at a time when you are relaxed and best prepared to accept a course of action that may benefit you.  Think of the houses as "areas" in your schedule where you may need to move things around, eliminate certain activities that cause you to be negative and replace them with whatever will make your energy more positive.
This is a basic interpretation, Lolita, because I don't know all that is involved in your dreams.  However, you should jot down as much as you can possibly recall of your dreams.  Then use what I have offered here, to apply to yourself and your life.  The KEY reason for the houses in your dreams will become much more clear to you as you examine these things on your own.  Good Luck.

Matthew 7:24-27 "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: (v25) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."

This is God working with you, telling you in your dreams there is a "brand new" way of "belief" which is "built upon that ROCK" (Matthew 16:18) which is JESUS or "brand new/big" as in your statement!!!

(v26) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: (v27) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall."

This is God telling you in your dreams if you continue in your current "belief(s)" or "old/small" as in your statement, you will be "likened unto a foolish man...and it fell: and great was the fall!!!"

The TRUTH on which "The Gospel of Christ" (Galatians 1:6-9) is built is in Ephesians 2:20-22 "And are built upon the foundation of the "apostles and prophets," JESUS CHRIST himself being "the chief corner stone;" (v21) In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: (v22) In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."

Revelation 21:14 says "And the wall of the city had "twelve foundations," and in them the names of the "twelve apostles" of the Lamb."  Acts 2:42 tells us that "IF" we are "Disciples of Christ," we should do as Scripture says the "Disciples of Christ" did in the Book of Acts when the FIRST CHURCH was established!  Acts 2:42 says "And they continued stedfastly in the "apostles' doctrine..." which was NOT the apostles' but "The Gospel of Christ" according to Ephesians 2:20 since "JESUS" is the "chief corner stone!"

God is "working with you," bringing you from the "old/small" way of believing into the "brand new/big" (Hallelujah) "TRUTH" in HIS WORD!!!

I will continue to pray that "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, (v19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power" (Ephesians 1:18-19)!!!

    Give God ALL the glory!!!
